Verified Early Main Story Route: Misty Shores, the Logan Crest, and Magic
Tested version: PC/Steam 1.1.38, checked July 13, 2026. This route stops after The Magic of Crops. It does not cover later family, romance, or late-area chapters. Console patch timing may differ from the Steam build.
Spoiler warning: The steps below reveal an early family-crest story, the first major region unlock, and the reward from The Dinner Party.
You know the Moonlight Peaks navigation experience: leave Town Hall, turn twice, and every purple roof starts looking like the same tasteful coffin. There is no minimap, so use the full map plus signs, stairs, bridges, and waterways. The route below points each night toward one clear landmark.
Before the Main Route Starts
Complete Meet the Townsfolk: meet 5 vampires, 4 witches, 4 werewolves, and 3 seers. After the opening introductions and the bridge scene become available, enter town on a later night to trigger the argument between Orlock, Mina, and Evan.
Orlock's Wine Scheme can remain active beside this route. Its objectives are: find Viktor somewhere on your plot; craft a Keg; deliver Red Wine to Orlock. The Keg costs 20 Wood. Red Wine uses 4 Blood Grapes and takes 44 hours in a Keg. Completing the quest unlocks the Keg recipe, Wine Rack recipe, and Double Wine Rack recipe. You do not need to wait for that wine to finish before clearing the cursed bridge.

1. A Bridge Too Far
Trigger: Enter town when the bridge argument is ready, then follow the quest marker to Orlock near The Broken Lamp.
Objectives in order:
- Talk to Orlock.
- Go to The Broken Lamp.
- Pay Orlock's debt to Samael.
- Wait for Orlock to apologize.
- Meet Mina at Fiona's House in Moonlit Pines.
- Ask Noel for help.
- Ask Luna for help.
- Ask Sabrina for help.
- Go to the Cursed Bridge.
Complete Orlock's dialogue, follow him into The Broken Lamp, and pay 350 Coins to Samael. No special dialogue answer is needed. Speak to Orlock again if the waiting objective does not appear.
Sleep once. Mina visits the farm at the start of the next night, returns the 350 Coins, and asks you to meet her at Fiona's house. From Town Hall, head west into Moonlit Pines, climb toward Luna's seed cart and farm, and follow the left-hand path to Fiona's house.
After the apology scene, speak to Noel, Luna, and Sabrina in the journal's listed order. Their positions change with their schedules, so open the full map and check their associated buildings when they are not outside. Sabrina works at Webb of Wonders, and Luna is commonly near her farm and seed cart.
Go to the black-fogged southern bridge after all three conversations update. The ritual removes the curse and opens the route into Misty Shores.
Reward and next trigger: You gain access to the Ambrosia Estate, Ambrosia Graveyard, Cave of Echoes, and Moonlight Tower. The Cave of Echoes contains Copper and Iron Ore; the Rusty Pickaxe can break Copper deposits, while Iron deposits require a Copper Pickaxe. Sleep and enter town on the next night to continue.
2. Tension in the Crest Garden
Trigger: Complete A Bridge Too Far, advance to the next night, and enter town. The Crest Garden is directly left of Town Hall.
Objectives in order:
- Visit the Crest Garden, left of the town hall.
- Talk to Alina.
- Talk to Aras.
- Talk to Dragan.
- Meet up at The Broken Lamp.
- Meet Ludo and Saga in the Howling Marshes tomorrow.
- Meet Ludo and Saga in the Howling Marshes.
- Go to the town hall.
Enter the Crest Garden for the missing-crest scene, then talk to Alina, Aras, and Dragan. Aras is tied to Third Eye Threads, but schedules can move all three residents. Enter The Broken Lamp once their objectives are complete.
Sleep when the journal changes to “tomorrow.” From Town Hall, take the route east into the Howling Marshes and enter the marked scene with Ludo and Saga. Return to Town Hall afterward and enter the building.
Reward and next trigger: There is no direct item or Coin reward. Completion opens A Croak and a Crest.
3. A Croak and a Crest
Prerequisite: Complete Tension in the Crest Garden. Leave enough backpack space for Copper Ore before entering the cave. The storage menus have already drawn enough blood for one evening.
Objectives in order:
- Meet Ludo in the Howling Marshes.
- Mine Copper Ore in the Cave of Echoes.
- Bring a Copper Bar to the little pond in Moonlit Pines.
- Return to the Crest Garden.
Meet Ludo in the Howling Marshes, then cross the southern bridge into Misty Shores. The Cave of Echoes is on the beach west of the Ambrosia Mansion. Follow the path left of the mansion, cross the smaller bridge, and take the stairs down toward the beach. Mine 4 Copper Ore with the Rusty Pickaxe to clear the journal objective.
If you do not own a Furnace, mine at least 19 Copper Ore before leaving: 15 for the Furnace and 4 for the quest bar. After your first Copper mining trip, sleep and check the mailbox for Ridge's Furnace blueprint. This mail step was tied to entering the cave and mining Copper in the tested route, so simply accepting the crest quest may not be enough.
Craft the Furnace at a Workbench with 15 Copper Ore and 5 Refined Stone. Make the Refined Stone in a Refiner; each piece uses 6 Stone, so five pieces require 30 Stone. In the Furnace, turn 1 Wood into 1 Charcoal, then smelt 4 Copper Ore plus 1 Charcoal into 1 Copper Bar. The bar takes 36 in-game minutes.
Carry the Copper Bar to the little pond in Moonlit Pines and interact with Yabbis. Use the pond named by the active objective, not one in the Howling Marshes. If Yabbis only offers normal dialogue, make sure the bar is in your backpack rather than farm storage. Return to the Crest Garden left of Town Hall for the final scene.
Reward and next trigger: The Logan Crest returns to the Crest Garden and counts toward crest progress. There is no direct item reward. Sleep once and enter town to begin The Dinner Party.
4. The Dinner Party
Trigger: Complete A Croak and a Crest, sleep, and enter town. No friendship-heart level was required in the tested route.
Objectives in order:
- Invite Elvira.
- Invite Samael.
- Invite Mina.
- Invite Evan.
- Invite Ridge.
- Attend the dinner at the Ambrosia Mansion.
The invitations do not need to be delivered in one night. Samael works at The Broken Lamp, Mina and Evan are tied to Coffee & Coffins, and Ridge works at the Howling Hammer. Check the full map and enter workplaces or homes when someone is not outside.
After every invitation updates, cross the southern bridge into Misty Shores and follow the main route to the Ambrosia Mansion. Enter the mansion to attend the dinner.
Reward and next trigger: Completing the dinner unlocks the Forms wheel and Hellkitten Form. This form provides faster travel, lets you talk to creatures, and grants access to the Vampster Cave. Wait two nights, then read Luna's “Come Visit!” letter to start The Magic of Crops.
5. The Magic of Crops
Trigger: Complete The Dinner Party, wait two nights, and read Luna's letter. The trigger follows story progress rather than one fixed season.
Objectives in order:
- Visit Luna's Farm.
- Fix your wand at Webb of Wonders.
- Show your wand to Luna at her farm.
- Water the Moonfruit again tomorrow.
- Water the Moonfruit again.
- Visit Luna's Farm tomorrow.
- Visit Luna's Farm.
From Town Hall, head west into Moonlit Pines and climb toward Luna's seed cart and farm. Enter the farm scene, then return to Webb of Wonders while the shop is open. Sabrina repairs the wand during the quest; no Coin payment was required in the tested route.
Return to Luna with the fixed wand. She teaches Aquaflux I, the magical watering spell. It costs 1 Mana and uses the gesture Up, Right, Down, Up, Left, Down. One cast summons one automatic watering can that can water up to 16 crops.
Use Aquaflux I on Luna's Moonfruit during the lesson. Ordinary watering does not grow magical crops. Sleep when the objective says “tomorrow,” return to the same Moonfruit patch, and cast Aquaflux I again. Sleep once more, then visit Luna's Farm for the completion scene.
Reward and verified stopping point: The quest unlocks spellcasting. Your wand remains usable, and Aquaflux I is available for magical crops. This is where the tested early route ends in PC/Steam version 1.1.38.
If the Next Objective Looks Stalled
- Read the exact active objective. “Tomorrow” and waiting stages require sleep before the next version of the objective appears.
- Check the mailbox after waking. Ridge's Furnace recipe and Luna's magic invitation arrive by mail.
- Enter the named area through its loading boundary. Several scenes start on entry rather than through normal resident dialogue.
- Open the full map and check workplaces or homes when a resident is missing outdoors.
- If a chair, door, or workstation steals the interaction focus, back away and approach from another side. Leave and re-enter the area before giving the furniture your whole night.
- Moonlight Peaks normally saves when you sleep. After an important quest step or unlock, return to the farm and sleep before quitting.
