Elvira's Treasure Hunt Clue Solutions

Tested version: PC/Steam 1.1.38, checked July 13, 2026.

Spoiler warning: This section reveals all five clue locations and the reward.

Start the hunt through Elvira's three-heart Town event, Prelude to the Hunt. Before following the clues, complete A Bridge Too Far. Repairing the cursed southern bridge opens Misty Shores, where the Ambrosia Graveyard and Cave of Echoes are located.

One wrong turn can turn five envelopes into a grand tour of every purple roof in town. Follow the named buildings and landmarks below, and collect the clues in this order.

Quick Answer: All Five Clue Stops

The Broken Lamp: beside the wine racks on the right side of Samael's bar.
Ambrosia Graveyard: behind the bat-shaped headstone in the upper-left corner.
Webb of Wonders: beside the pottery workstation on the right side of the shop.
Cave of Echoes: near the large bell on the eastern side of the cave.
Khazan Temple: outside, on the right side of the waterfall.

1. The Broken Lamp: Right-Side Wine Racks

Enter The Broken Lamp, Samael's bar on the east side of Town. Walk to the wine racks along the right side of the room. The first envelope is on the floor near the bottle shelves. Stand beside it and interact.

2. Ambrosia Graveyard: Bat-Shaped Headstone

Cross the repaired southern bridge into Misty Shores and follow the estate path toward Ambrosia Mansion. Enter the family graveyard and go to its upper-left corner. The second envelope is tucked behind the bat-shaped headstone. Circle the marker if the stone blocks your view of the envelope or interaction prompt.

3. Webb of Wonders: Pottery Workstation

Return to Town and enter Webb of Wonders, Sabrina's shop. Walk to the right side of the main room and find the pottery workstation. The third envelope is on the floor beside it.

4. Cave of Echoes: Eastern Bell

Return to Misty Shores and enter the Cave of Echoes. Work east, or right across the cave, until you reach the large bell. Check the ground between the nearby grave stones for the fourth envelope.

This is the clue that sends many vampires to the Town Hall clock. Wrong bell, excellent cardio. The target is inside the Cave of Echoes. Tip: Carry your pickaxe and leave some energy for the cave route, even though the envelope itself is beside the bell.

5. Khazan Temple: Waterfall

Return to Town Hall and take the road running directly east. Stay on the straight lower path instead of turning north toward the Howling Marshes. Follow it to the Khazan Temple grounds.

Do not enter the temple. Walk to the outside waterfall and check the ground on its right side, beside the tended plants. Interact with the fifth envelope there. If you are searching an interior room, Elvira has successfully bamboozled you; step outside and face the waterfall.

Complete the Hunt and Claim the Reward

After collecting the fifth envelope, check the journal and return to Elvira. Interact with her to unlock the final treasure objective, then follow that objective until the hunt closes. Finishing the hunt awards a painting that can be hung inside your house. In the tested PC/Steam 1.1.38 run, it appeared as a pink framed picture of a reclining cat- or Vampster-like creature. Use the new hangable painting as your reward check rather than relying on a specific inventory name.

If an envelope seems missing, check the five landmarks again in order and make sure the prior clue registered. If the southern bridge is still cursed, finish A Bridge Too Far before attempting the graveyard or Cave of Echoes clues.
