A five-star Marketplace listing can arrive looking as if it spent the weekend in Tokyo Bay. Then one broken board eats the money meant for your next licence. Protect job money first, then grow the shop with what remains. That keeps every tiny screw from becoming a financial emergency.

These are the fixed purchase prices in the August 10, 2026 retail PC build. Treat your total customer income, available Marketplace stock, device condition, and final resale profit as variable. This plan works with the jobs and listings you have instead of promising one magic shopping day.

Early Licence and Tool Costs

Professional Screwdriver	¥11,000	Prerequisite: access to Gozilla Fairfox > Binotaro. Stay on the default screwdriver tab and buy the second item.	Useful early repair upgrade when screw work is the repeated bench delay.
Shredder, first model	¥70,000	Prerequisite: access to Gozilla Fairfox > Binotaro. Stay on the default screwdriver tab, scroll to the Shredder, and buy it. It is a tool for broken parts rather than a new device-family unlock.	Low early priority. Licences, required parts, and the cash reserve usually come first.
Ultrasonic Bath, first model	¥80,000	Prerequisite: access to Gozilla Fairfox > Binotaro. Stay on the default screwdriver tab, scroll to the Ultrasonic Bath, and buy it. It automatically cleans loose parts and can handle a small batch at once.	Best saved for the point when repeated batches of dirty parts are slowing several jobs.

Warning: Never spend the bill or customer-part reserve on a licence, tool, or suspicious Marketplace bargain. A new gadget family is not useful if its first bad battery leaves three paid repairs stranded on the bench.

Use the Two-Pile Cash Check

Price accepted work first. Inspect accepted customer devices, list every broken or missing component, and check the needed replacement prices in Packuten.
Add bills and a small buffer. Combine those part costs with every unpaid bill in hand. Leave room for the next bill if another payout will not arrive first. This protected total is your reserve.
Call everything above the reserve growth cash. Only growth cash may fund licences, tools, donor devices, or resale stock.
Buy one major unlock at a time. Rebuild the reserve before making another large purchase.

This plan assumes in-person customer repairs and Outlink Express orders provide the base cash flow. Marketplace buying is limited to one speculative device at a time. Salvaging means stripping a device for reusable parts, and it is used for a known need instead of building a random mountain of Y2K plastic.

What to Buy First

Licence with an immediate use: Buy the Nony PMP Licence when you need its Marketplace listings or supplier parts. That access beats a comfort upgrade when it is holding up useful work.
Required replacement parts: Finish paid repairs before stocking parts for a device you merely hope will appear.
Repair tool: The ¥11,000 Professional Screwdriver is the least expensive major purchase here. Take it when repeated screw work is slowing most sessions, but keep the reserve intact.
Cleaning tool: Save for the ¥80,000 Ultrasonic Bath when you regularly have several loose dirty parts waiting. If cleaning is still occasional, keep using your current brush.
Next useful licence: The ¥71,000 Nony PlayMachine Licence is a sound expansion when you have a clear use for it. Do not buy it merely because the pink listing looks wonderfully 2004.
Resale stock: Buy one device only after subtracting its asking price, likely replacement costs, and the full reserve. Seller stars and cheerful descriptions are clues, not a condition report.
Shredder: Leave the ¥70,000 model until licences, required parts, and cleaning flow are stable.

Recover After a Bad Marketplace Purchase

If a bargain arrives full of broken parts, stop buying stock until the reserve is whole again. Disassemble the device, clean its working loose parts, and move those pieces into the parts box or inventory. Compare the remaining replacement cost with the completed resale value. If the margin is poor, leave the unfinished device boxed on the shelf and keep its good parts for future repairs instead of chasing the loss.

Choose cleaning-only Outlink Express orders when they appear, along with customer repairs that use parts already in inventory. Complete and return that work before buying another Marketplace device. Once the reserve is rebuilt, resume with one low-risk project. That slower reset is still progress, and the next revived handheld feels much better when another bill is not waiting beneath it.
