Key Customer Choices and the Two Ending Routes

That last screw may hide under a plastic lip, but the smallest dangerous object in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is still a friendly-looking dialogue button. Haruhi's courier answer, the home invitations, Yui's repair bill, and Hashimoto's final offer can all change a scene or achievement.

The home invitations are not a simple three-button lock. More than one character may agree to stay, but only one watch discovery should be targeted in a run. Plan Melancholy, Ronin, and Ghost in the Frame as separate-playthrough goals. These character outcomes do not replace the final route choice: the two endings are selected later through Hashimoto's mutually exclusive answers.

Before the Home-Route Split

Safe save point: none is verified for this split. Do not rely on a post-championship backup to open all three routes. Start the playthrough with one character achievement in mind, and do not invite another route guest before that achievement unlocks.

Haruhi — Melancholy

1. Continue Haruhi's visits until the conversation about the courier appears.
2. Choose the answer saying that you do not trust the courier. Trusting him prevents the required stay-with-you path.
3. When the later invitation appears, offer Haruhi a place to stay.
4. Complete the tourist's repairs.
5. Finish Haruhi's last requested repair, then speak to her again.

The final conversation connects the player character to the previous shop owner's disappearance. Haruhi leaves, her story closes, and Melancholy unlocks. This changes Haruhi's route, not the later Hashimoto ending choice.

Kaito — Ronin

1. Continue Kaito's visits until you can invite him home.
2. Invite Kaito, and do not invite another route guest while pursuing his achievement.
3. Advance his story until he discovers the watch and asks you to repair it.
4. Repair and return the watch, then complete the follow-up conversation.

The watch sequence completes Kaito's character story and unlocks Ronin. Treat the other home-route achievements as new-playthrough goals; Kaito's result does not select the final ending.

Baketsu — Ghost in the Frame

1. Continue Baketsu's visits until you can invite them home.
2. Invite Baketsu, the upstairs neighbor with the bucket, without inviting another route guest first.
3. Advance the story until Baketsu discovers the watch and requests its repair.
4. Repair and return the watch, then finish the conversation that follows.

This completes Baketsu's character story and unlocks Ghost in the Frame. If another guest reaches the watch route first, Baketsu does not reopen that subject. This affects the character scene and achievement, not Hashimoto's final offer.

Hoshino Yui and Yamato — Origami

1. Accept Yui's early request to repair her Eggotchi.
2. Finish the repair and place the Eggotchi out for collection.
3. When Yamato says Yui did not pay and offers to cover the bill, refuse his money.
4. Choose the answer that makes the repair free for children.

Yamato later returns with Yui's thank-you gift. The origami decoration provides +10 Zen and unlocks Origami. Taking Yamato's payment misses that reward, but neither answer chooses the final ending.

Before Hashimoto's Ending Split

Safe save point: none is verified before this split. Yamato's visit about the canceled concert flows directly into Hashimoto's offer, so do not expect a trip to the bike between those conversations. Unless you have already restored and branched your own copied save successfully, plan to earn the second ending in another playthrough.

Globalization

At Hashimoto's final prompt, choose the second option. This accepts the redevelopment plan and allows the shopping center to be built. The redevelopment ending plays and Globalization unlocks. This answer is mutually exclusive with the first option during that uninterrupted run.

Rock of the Ages!

At the same Hashimoto prompt, choose the first option. This sells the shop to Takumi and donates the profits to the concert organizers. The resulting epilogue shows how the major characters have moved forward, and Rock of the Ages! unlocks.

One Hashimoto answer produces one ending per uninterrupted playthrough. A manually copied save is only a safe branch after you have restored it and proved that both choices remain available.
