All Puzzle Solutions and Exact Answers
You know the room: two beams behave, the third wanders off, and a stone door watches the whole mess without lifting a finger. The fixes below start from a named doorway, plate, statue, or pedestal so left and right stay tied to the room instead of the camera.
Hold R1 on PlayStation or RB on Xbox to use the Sphere; follow the displayed key on PC. Light Reveal exposes hidden blue paths, symbols, and safe tiles. Light Splitting projects red, green, and blue rays; use Square/Circle on PlayStation or X/B on Xbox to rotate them. Light Concentrate, unlocked later in the story, creates the focused beam used against pale growth and light-sensitive threats.

Chapter 2: Felons
Church-Roof Signal Mirror
Starting state and orientation: Interact with the mirror on the church roof. Keep the bell tower behind Sophia and the roof cross ahead.
Hint: Touching a signal is not enough. Hold the reflected light on it until the point fades.
- Aim just right of the roof cross, toward the gap between two towers.
- Hold the first white point until it disappears.
- Keep the bell tower behind Sophia and pan right toward the waterfront.
- Lower the beam onto the signal on the pier.
- Hold it there until it fades and the objective advances.
Chapter 3: Those Before Us
Watchtower Sight
Starting state and orientation: In the ruined settlement, find the remains of a house whose doorway frames the watchtower.
Hint: The circular sight and the fallen red mast must form the X drawn in Sophia’s notebook.
- Look through the ruined doorway and interact with the framed view to register the tower.
- Climb the watchtower with the grapnel.
- Stand directly behind the circular sight.
- Align the bar through the circle with the fallen red mast below until they form an X.
- Climb down, return to Leni at the marked ground, and interact to uncover the trapdoor.
First Two-Lens Door
Starting state and orientation: After crossing the water by raft and entering the high structure, activate the pedestal and face the sealed door. Two lenses rise, and the gold receivers on both sides of the door are dark.
Hint: This is a direct-light check. Each lens feeds the gold receiver nearest its side of the door.
- Rotate the left lens until its beam fills the left gold receiver.
- Rotate the right lens until its beam fills the right gold receiver.
- Keep both receivers lit together until the door opens.
Three Platform Latches
Starting state and orientation: Stand on the central platform with the Sphere pedestal ahead. Each completed latch stays open even after its lens is moved.
Hint: Count the glowing frescoes, not the beams still crossing the room.
- Turn away from the pedestal. Use the large lens on the platform to Sophia’s right and aim it at the front-center gold dial.
- Rotate that same source lens left until it feeds the lens on the opposite platform.
- Use the second lens and aim it into the gold dial on the left wall.
- Find the broken lens in the corner to the right of the first revealed fresco and interact so Leni holds it upright.
- Return to the lens used for the left-wall dial and redirect its beam into Leni’s broken lens.
- Confirm that all three frescoes glow, then place the Sphere in the central pedestal to descend.
Chapter 4: From Hell It Rose
First Trial: Three Pedestal Symbols
Starting state and orientation: After unlocking Light Reveal, face the sealed door. The three code pedestals stand left, middle, and right.
Hint: Each pedestal has its own blue path. Follow that path to the wall mark belonging to the pedestal.
- Set the left pedestal to Y.
- Set the middle pedestal to C.
- Set the right pedestal to the upward arrow.
The fixed answer is Y → C → ↑.
Four-Reflector Relay
Starting state and orientation: Face the sealed exit from the entrance. The light is off until someone holds the plate above the entrance. Label the reflectors along the beam route as lower-left, lower-right, upper-left, and upper-right.
Hint: The beam must zigzag around the hanging slabs. One middle reflector may already be aimed correctly, so follow the live beam before turning it.
- Climb above the entrance and step on the plate. Move away when Leni takes over.
- Aim the lower-left reflector across the room at the lower-right reflector.
- Aim the lower-right reflector at the upper-left reflector.
- If the upper-left reflector already feeds the upper-right one, leave it alone. Otherwise, turn it until that connection is made.
- Aim the upper-right reflector at the gold disk over the exit.
Two-Pedestal Maze Code
Starting state and orientation: Face the exit with the circular floor maze ahead. The left and right pedestals sit on the entrance side.
Hint: Trace each blue route back to the pedestal where it begins. The worn glyphs are easy to misname, so match their strokes.
- Set the left pedestal to the bug-like mark: an oval or O-shaped center with four short diagonal strokes.
- Set the right pedestal to the upright T/F-like mark with a vertical stem and short crossbars.
- Wait for the fiery door animation, then clear the soldiers that enter.
Small Spike-Trap Corridor
Starting state and orientation: At each lit plate, face toward the corridor exit. Left and right below mean Sophia’s sides in that position.
Hint: Light Reveal shows the safe symbols before Sophia steps away from the light.
- For the first grid, hug the far-left wall and walk straight across all three tiles.
- For the second grid, start at the far-right tile.
- Move forward two tiles, left one tile, then forward one tile into safety.
- At the six wall sockets, use the scales-marked socket. From the approach, it is the third opening on the left.
Large Hidden-Path Spike Floor
Starting state and orientation: Boost Leni to the lens on the room’s left. Stand below the entrance, face the far exit, and do not step onto the grid yet.
Hint: The blue line is continuous even where walls block the light. Count from the entrance-facing direction, not the camera.
- Activate Light Reveal at the fourth panel from the left.
- Follow the visible line to the first wall.
- Advance one panel, then move right four panels.
- At the second obstruction, continue straight three panels and left one.
- At the third obstruction, advance two panels and move left two.
- Follow the visible line again. At the final wall, continue straight to the exit.
Minotaur Arena Mirror Pairs
Spoiler warning: Finishing this mechanism triggers a story scene and a combat encounter.
Starting state and orientation: Stand on the central platform facing the Minotaur. Walk the arena so Sophia records the linked floor marks before moving the reflectors.
Hint: Light both symbols in a linked pair at the same time. Each correct pair moves one part of the statue.
- Pair one: match the bell or sideways-D mark with the T. Aim the right reflector at the first mark on the front-left wall and the left reflector at the third mark on the back-right wall.
- Pair two: match the inverse-S or forked-M mark with the triangle. Aim the left reflector at the third mark on the front-right wall and the right reflector at the fourth mark on the front-left wall.
- When both hands reach the platform, use Light Reveal on the rings around them.
- Final pair: match the W/claw mark with the lowercase-h mark. Aim the left reflector at the fourth mark on the front-right wall. Feed the right reflector into the center reflector, then aim the center reflector at the first mark on that same wall.
- Use the raised pedestal, clear the ambush, and use the pedestal again.
Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought
Light-Splitting Entrance Door
Starting state and orientation: Activate the central pedestal, then stand on the lit floor plate on the room’s right while facing the sealed door.
Hint: Stay on the casting plate. Moving closer changes the ray angles.
- Switch to Light Splitting.
- Place green on the green receiver.
- Rotate the Sphere until red and blue also touch their matching receivers.
- Hold all three colors until the door opens.
Symbol Platform Route
Starting state and orientation: Face the spike platforms and number their four columns from left to right as 1–4. “Points” means the dotted mark; “Squid” is also described as a Kraken.
Hint: The clue repeats Points → Squid → Points → Flower → Squid, but the collectible route leaves the grid midway.
- Jump to Points 2 → Squid 3 → Points 3 → Flower 2 → Squid 2.
- Continue to Points 2 → Squid 1, then climb the rocks on the left and cross the upper ledge.
- From the collectible ledge, drop to Points 1.
- Continue Flower 2 → Squid 3 → Points 3.
- Jump backward to Squid 3, forward again to Points 3, then right to Flower 3 and the exit.
Optional Greek Sword Pillar
Starting state and orientation: From the four-socket hub, face the large green bull door and take the front-right route marked by an O with three lines. After the fight, go to the abandoned camp instead of climbing to the large door. Climb the ruins on the camp’s left and stand on the last plate of the left pillar.
Hint: The bull pillar is a three-color receiver that only lines up from this plate.
- Use Light Splitting from the final left-pillar plate.
- Place the green ray on the green receiver in the bull’s face.
- Rotate red and blue onto their matching receivers.
- Hold all three colors until the axe-shaped floor panel opens.
- Take the stairs down and open the tomb for the Greek Sword.
Moving-Platform Temple Trial
Starting state and orientation: Crawl through the tunnel below the large door and stand on the first lit plate between the statues. The door and later platforms begin closed or lowered.
Hint: Finish each receiver animation before leaving its casting plate. A half-lit gem is the temple’s polite way of saying “try that again.”
- First statue door: put red on the left statue’s helmet, green on the center receiver, and blue on the right statue’s hand.
- Second statue door: put green on the upper receiver, blue on the lower receiver, and red on the right statue’s eye.
- Use the reflector to clear the pale growth from the front-right crank. Start the crank once so Leni takes over.
- Cross the raised platform. At the next casting point, put green on the upper green receiver, then rotate red and blue onto their matches.
- Cross the spikes to the opposite lit plate. Put blue on the receiver nearest the central rim, then settle red and green.
- Continue across the moving platforms. When Leni lights the floor, switch to Light Reveal and follow the blue safe path through the spikes.
- At the final plate, put red on the upper red receiver and rotate green and blue onto the rightmost matching receivers below the door.
- Enter the passage and use the device at the top to collect the trial symbol.
Colored-Mirror Chamber
Starting state and orientation: Enter the watery room and face the central column. Separate red, green, and blue sources stand around the edge, while growth hides parts of the routes.
Hint: Keep each color on its own chain. All three must finish at the same-colored point on the column.
- Use the blue beam to clear growth and petrified bodies from the reflectors.
- Red: source to the far-right reflector, then into the red point on the column’s right side.
- Green: source to the back-right or opposite reflector, then into the green point on the back of the column.
- Blue: source to the elevated reflector on the left, then to the lower rear reflector, up and right into the next reflector, and finally into the blue point on the column’s left side.
- Use the pedestal exposed when the column lowers.
Hub Room: Three Socket Answers
Starting state and orientation: Return to the four-door hub and face the large green bull door.
Hint: Each route pedestal takes the symbol earned inside that route.
- Dice-like square route: inverted or backward P.
- O with three lines route: h or handled-M.
- O over a line route: round O.
Chapter 6: What Lies Beneath
Optional Sica Tomb
Starting state and orientation: In Subchapter 5, pass through the gate opened with Daedalus’s Key and take the left tunnel in the next corridor. At the statue, climb from the left block onto the lit platform and face the bull pillar.
Hint: One target is below Sophia’s platform, while the red ray completes its route through a reflector.
- Aim green below the bull pillar.
- Aim blue at the receiver below Sophia’s platform.
- Aim red at the back-right pillar so it reflects to its target.
- Hold all three colors until the tomb opens, then claim the Sica.
Chapter 7: Death It Sowed
Lever-and-Light Gate
Starting state and orientation: After lowering Sophia into the room, face the sealed door. The rear lever turns the source; the central lever moves the hanging reflector.
Hint: Build a straight beam first, then bend it down onto the floor plate.
- Use the rear lever until the source hits the hanging reflector.
- Use the central lever until that reflector shines onto the green floor plate before the door.
- Stand on the lit plate and use Light Splitting.
- Place green on the receiver above the door, then rotate red and blue onto their matches.
Outer Black Temple Skull Code
Starting state and orientation: Face the Black Temple door from the round plate. Number the skull pillars from left to right as 1–4.
Hint: Light Reveal shows 3, 4, 2, 1 across the pillars. Sort those values into input order.
- Press pillar 4, the far-right skull.
- Press pillar 3, second from the right.
- Press pillar 1, the far-left skull.
- Press pillar 2, second from the left.
- Use the eye socket in the opened door.
The physical input is 4 → 3 → 1 → 2.
Inner Black Temple Light Mechanism
Starting state and orientation: After the first fight, stand in the lit circle beside the central hole. The reflector array is still hidden.
Hint: Reveal two skull controls first. The solved route opens downward into the floor.
- Use Light Reveal and turn to the wall behind Sophia. Press the blue-marked skull.
- Follow the moved light, defeat the soldiers, and press the next blue-marked skull.
- Use the central pedestal, interact again when it becomes movable, and slide the center reflector above the green receiver on the hole’s rim.
- Stand on the casting plate and use Light Splitting.
- Aim green into the center reflector, red into the left or upper-left reflector, and blue into the right reflector.
- Descend on the platforms that emerge inside the hole.
Chapter 10: Parallel Paths
Symbol Cavern Route
Starting state and orientation: Enter the cavern after the abandoned camp and read each turn while facing deeper into the cave.
Hint: The wall marks correspond to the direction notes in Sophia’s book.
- Turn right at symbols one, two, three, and four.
- Turn left at symbols five and six.
- Squeeze through the exit.
The route is Right → Right → Right → Right → Left → Left.
Optional Xiphos Tomb
Starting state and orientation: Cross the water beside the Resonance Point, enter the rock passage, and grapple up the right wall. The blue receiver at the tomb begins hidden by pots.
Hint: If blue has nowhere to land, the Minoans have buried the answer under pottery. Subtle.
- Break the pots to expose the blue receiver.
- Activate the pedestal before the statue.
- Stand on the lit plate in the right corner and face the statue.
- Set red to the left receiver, green to the middle receiver, and blue to the uncovered right receiver.
- Enter the tomb and claim the Xiphos.
Exterior Reflector Relay and Mountain Door
Starting state and orientation: In the exterior basin, face the round mountain door and its three pedestals. Three stelae already have light; the others require the relay and Faro.
Hint: Complete the white-light relay, reveal all six stelae, set the three rings, and only then split the colored light.
- Enter the waterfall cave and turn the center wheel clockwise until the lamp activates.
- Aim the cave beam at the reflector outside the cave.
- Aim that reflector at the scaffold lens along the basin’s side.
- Aim the scaffold lens at the reflector on the central raised platform.
- Boost Faro onto the platform, clear the fight, and stand on the nearby plate so he lights the final clue position.
- Use Light Reveal at all six stelae so Sophia records their marks.
- At the door, the left pedestal moves the inner ring, the middle pedestal moves the middle ring, and the right pedestal moves the outer ring.
- Set the inner green gem to the snake.
- Set the middle red gem to the upward arrow.
- Set the outer blue gem to the linked H or handled-M.
- Stand on the lit plate and use Light Splitting to place green, red, and blue on the aligned gems.
Story Light Circuit
Spoiler warning: This playable story sequence reveals why the ancient machinery matters. The steps below avoid naming that revelation.
Starting state and orientation: After the viewpoint change, follow the companion down the left steps to the first lamp.
Hint: Drive the creature away, charge the yellow eye until it closes, then use the newly raised reflector.
- At the first lamp, repel the creature, charge the eye on the column ahead, and aim at the lower-right receiver.
- Cross the right walkway, pass behind the next platform, and reach the reflector.
- Repel the creature, charge the eye on the large column to the right, and aim at the reflector that rises on the left.
- At that reflector, charge the receiver ahead and then aim at the newly raised distant reflector.
- At the next reflector, charge the receiver on the right and aim at the next distant reflector.
- Follow that route to a lamp, activate it, charge the central column, and aim at the high reflector on the right.
- Reach the final reflector and aim it at the last receiver on the central column. The platform lowers when the circuit is complete.
Chapter 11: Patera
Beam Puzzle 1: Dual Controls
Starting state and orientation: After sliding down the cave, enter the round room with the vertical beam. Face the beam from the entrance; the two controls are on the right.
Hint: The right control springs back, so start it once and let Faro hold it.
- Use the rightmost control between the large gears.
- Release it when Faro takes over.
- Move to the control immediately left of it.
- Sweep the beam across the pale growth until the right-hand route is clear.
- Take that corridor, squeeze through the gap, and pull the lever in the next room.
Beam Puzzle 2: Rail Shield and Blocked Crank
Starting state and orientation: After the elevator, follow Faro to the inaccessible crank. A movable shield device waits at the far end of the rail, beyond the nearer beam-control crank.
Hint: Move the shield before touching the beam control. The direct light makes the work area unsafe.
- Walk past the nearer crank to the rail device beside the petrified bodies.
- Push the device along the rail until its shield stands beside the nearer crank.
- Use that protected crank and rotate the beam until it burns the growth from the other crank.
- Return to the cleared lens crank and turn it until the lens points downward.
- Continue through the newly safe route.
If the rail device did not spawn, restart the current subchapter before attempting the mechanism again.
Beam Puzzle 3: The Last Lens
Starting state and orientation: After the fight near the giant lens, boost Faro at the left corner, ride the wooden lift, follow the upper walkway, and take the second right. Crouch through the corridor to the patch of light.
Hint: Use Light Concentrate to uncover both controls before trying to align the lens.
- From the light patch, burn the growth down the corridor and around the distant crank.
- Use that crank to sweep the large beam through the room until the remaining growth clears.
- Go left to the newly usable lens crank.
- Turn it to its end position so the lens aligns and the beam no longer blocks the right-hand descent.
- Return right and use the grapnel point to continue.
When a Correct Solution Does Not Register
- No blue clue appears: move Sophia onto the room’s lit plate or casting circle. Light Reveal is not room-wide.
- A receiver flickers: center the ray and hold it until the permanent glow or mechanism animation finishes.
- One colored ray misses: return to the casting mark and check that every movable reflector or door ring is in its final position.
- A companion does nothing: start the crank, plate, broken lens, or boost interaction once to begin the handoff.
- The room still looks closed: check the floor and finish any triggered fight. The inner Black Temple opens downward rather than through its tall door.
