Key Block Side and T-Droid Repair Routes
You spot a yellow repair marker, walk Shiro across Paradise at the speed of a thoughtful houseplant, and learn that the usable switch was behind you. Classic cheerful bureaucracy. A Visual System Switch changes the view to Block Side, the hidden maintenance layer beneath the public world. These switches are fixed landmarks; you cannot enter Block Side from any spot you please.
Use Retry if a board has already gone sideways. It resets that puzzle without making you repeat the walk. Also, save your heroic maintenance energy for faults with a clear prompt. Plenty of scenery looks suspicious, but not every visible glitch can be repaired.
Spoiler tier: Day 1 through Day 4 entries reveal puzzle mechanics and small objective results. Day 5 and Day 6 entries contain story-location spoilers but no ending details.
Day 1: Repair the Central Hall Shop T-Droid
Unlock requirement: Finish the Day 1 Factory shift, follow the afternoon route to Central Hall, and speak with Tot inside the shop. The repair has no Resident Rating gate. Resident Rating 3 is needed to use the shop's full purchase service.
- Normal-world landmark: The round automated counter inside the Central Hall shop, with Tot nearby.
- Nearest terminal: The Visual System Switch on the right side of the shop.
- Route: Activate the right-side switch, return to the round counter in Block Side, and use the yellow maintenance prompt on the stalled Shop T-Droid.
This sorting board uses numbered blocks, a plus-shaped switch, and barriers. The switch opens the lanes needed to separate the 2 and 3 blocks.
- Move the lower-left 1 right onto the plus-shaped switch.
- Move the 2 above a 3 upward until it sits beside the other 2.
- Move the right-hand 2 right into the empty space.
- Move the remaining 2 right to join it.
- Put both 2 blocks in the right target slots and both 3 blocks in the left target slots.
After the repair: Return to the public view and speak with Tot again. The Shop T-Droid resumes service, Tot's affinity increases, and he gives Shiro a house-plant décor set. This happens during afternoon free-roam, after the Factory shift, so no Factory work time is spent.
Day 3: Change Rainman's Weather Setting
Unlock requirement: Continue Amane's Day 3 story until Shiro chooses to alter the weather for her. This is a story event, not a Resident Rating gate.
- Normal-world landmark: Rainman, the large weather machine in Central Hall in front of the Salon.
- Nearest terminal: The Visual System Switch at Rainman's base near the pool-side steps.
- Route: Return from the Garden to Central Hall, use the switch beside Rainman, follow the curved pool edge in Block Side, and open the yellow maintenance panel.
Every crossed square raises the carried value by 1. Striped cells are barriers, and the paired portal carries the current value to the other side of the board.
- Start on 1 and move left, down, right, right, up, right, up, right, down, down.
- Enter the right portal on 11. You emerge at the left portal on 12.
- Move up, up, right, right to place 16 in the final goal.
- On the weather panel, move the top slider from left to center.
- Move the middle and bottom sliders from right to center. All three handles should end in the center column.
After the repair: Return to the public view and the rain stops. The route advances Amane's story, and the decision to help her updates her affinity. This is a story segment outside the Factory timer. The nearby water-system repair is a separate optional job.
Day 4 Optional: Repair Tot's Control Chip
Unlock requirement: Reach the Day 4 free-roam sequence after the Pivlof story events, then return toward the Factory and speak with Tot when he complains about his control chip.
- Normal-world landmark: Tot waiting against the outer Factory wall.
- Nearest terminal: The Visual System Switch pedestal just behind and to the right of Tot.
- Route: Use that pedestal, turn back toward Tot in Block Side, and interact with the yellow prompt over his forehead chip.
The fault board mixes gear-shaped virus icons with numbered, empty, and striped tiles. Select exactly four gears:
- The lone gear at the top, above the upper 1.
- The gear at the lower left.
- The gear in the lower center.
- The gear at the lower right.
Do not select the striped bottom tile beneath the rotation control; it is a barrier, not the fourth fault.
After the repair: Return to the public view and speak with Tot. His pain clears and his affinity rises. This optional interaction occurs after the Factory shift and does not spend Factory work time or a separate timed work slot.
Day 5 Story Spoilers: System Outage Route
Unlock requirement: Leave Shiro's apartment during the Day 5 emergency. The story places you in the emergency Block Side sequence, so there is no terminal to find for these repairs. Yellow security barricades divide the districts, and each gate needs its code before the route opens.
There are seven optional repair markers along the evacuation route. Clear them in this order before crossing each district gate:
- Residential vending machine: From Shiro's apartment, follow the housing corridor to the vending machine and repair its sliding-and-sorting board before entering 3186 at the Factory gate.
- Factory display: After the gate, continue toward the Factory entrance and repair the marked display.
- Factory entry panel: At the normal clock-in area beside the Reception T-Droid, select the jamming-virus nodes on the marked control panel.
- Central Hall monitor: Use code 5532, enter Central Hall, and repair the marked monitor before circling toward the Salon.
- First Salon water panel: At the water feature in front of the Salon, clear the marked fault on the first panel.
- Second Salon water panel: Move left along the same pool edge and return the water-composition sliders to their required positions.
- Stockyard device: Enter 9054 at the Stockyard gate, then repair the marked electronic device on the left before approaching Heine.
The code 7809 opens the later route back toward Residential. Finish every yellow repair marker in a district before entering its exit code; the emergency route is not generous about backtracking.
After the repairs: Each fixed device clears its warning marker and increases the emergency payment. Completing all seven produces the maximum 6,500 U-Point payout after the sequence. This is a fixed story emergency, so it uses neither Factory work time nor an ordinary free-time slot.
Day 6: Repair the Two Stockyard Service T-Droids
Unlock requirement: Finish the Day 6 Factory shift and reach Resident Rating 4. The Stockyard cleanup is available during the afternoon free-roam route.
- Normal-world landmark: The damaged Service T-Droids on the lower Stockyard floor near Heine and the large machinery banks.
- Nearest terminal: The entry-platform Visual System Switch beside the large blue display.
- Route: Use the switch on the upper platform, descend the long ramp, follow the glowing floor edge onto the lower work floor, and inspect each yellow-striped Service T-Droid marker.
Value-path board: Each move increases the value by 1. You must touch the dotted 3 goal before reaching the final 14 goal. Crystal and striped cells block movement.
- From 1, move right, up, up to cross the 3 goal.
- Continue left, left, down, down, left, left.
- Finish with up, up, right, up to place 14 in its goal.
Virus board: Select the six gear icons: the lone top-center gear, the upper-right gear, the gear left of the numbered cluster, the center gear, the far lower-left gear, and the bottom-center gear. Ignore the numbered blocks, plus marks, and striped barriers.
After both repairs: The warning markers disappear and both Service T-Droids return to operation. The optional repairs add to the day's credit earnings. They occur during afternoon free-roam after the Factory shift, so the Factory timer is not running.
Day 6 Story Spoilers: Fallen Security T-Droid in the Salon
Unlock requirement: Continue the Day 6 Salon story until Sona and Mari leave and the black Security T-Droid strikes Shiro.
- Normal-world landmark: The main floor inside the Salon, at the spot where the confrontation ends.
- Nearest terminal: The Salon entrance Visual System Switch beside the tall potted plant.
- Route: Use the entrance switch, walk through the main Salon floor in Block Side, and follow the yellow-striped marker to the fallen black T-Droid.
This sorting board uses plus nodes to shift blocks between lanes, while striped cells remain blocked. Finish with 2, 5, 3 across the top row and 1 in the lower-right slot. If a block gets trapped against a striped cell, use Retry and begin from the clean board.
After the repair: The Security T-Droid returns to operation and the Salon story advances. This is a required story-time repair outside the Factory timer. Nora's missable affinity scene is not beside this repair: it occurs later, after the Salon Ponderation, outside on the left where red lights flicker in Block Side.
These repairs are where D-topia's best fantasy clicks into place. Shiro is not only solving tidy little boards; he is looking beneath Paradise's polished shell and helping the people caught inside its suspiciously optimized machinery.
