Benches, Meals, and Decoration Checklist
Nothing says “optimized happiness” like reaching the Salon and remembering that Shiro’s lunch is three districts behind him. Use the shuttle after Factory shifts, eat before the next story objective, and test each nearby seat before leaving an area. This keeps the cheerful bureaucracy from turning into a twelve-seat audit.
Spoiler tier: Seats 1–9 use locations available by Day 4. Seats 10–12 contain light Day 7 location spoilers, with no choice or ending results.
All 12 Benches and Seats
- Day 0 — Arrival Zone: Sit on the light metal bench beside the landing platform before using the exit gate. Missability: High. This prologue seat cannot be recovered after leaving.
- Day 0 onward — Shiro’s Apartment: Use the small living-room sofa beside the dining table. Missability: Low. It remains inside Shiro’s home, but taking it now avoids a very silly late-game sofa hunt.
- Day 1 onward — Residential Area: On the path between the apartment and Factory, find the fallen fire extinguisher. Sit in the light-gray chair directly across from it, among the dark chairs. Missability: Low.
- Day 1 onward — Factory District: Near the route into Central Hall, inspect the TV and vending-machine lounge beside the trash bins. Ignore the black sofa and sit on the gray sofa tucked into the corner. Missability: Low. Stand close to the cushion to reveal the prompt.
- Day 1 onward — Central Hall Plaza: Face the Salon entrance and look across the plaza for a round café table with three chairs. Use the light-gray chair. Missability: Low.
- Day 1 onward — Central Hall Shop: Enter the shop, pass the main shelves on the left, and press into the blind corner until the chair prompt appears. Missability: Medium. This is the classic “I checked the whole room except the three pixels that mattered” seat.
- Day 4 or Day 6 onward — Central Hall Salon: Sit on the bright yellow sofa beside the bar corner. Missability: Medium. Day 4’s Pivlof visit is the safest time; a bad-ending route can block later Salon access.
- Day 1 onward — Garden: Find the tree where Mari often waits and use the pale interaction point on the circular wooden bench around its trunk. Missability: Low.
- Day 2 onward — Depot: Follow the main upper walkway toward Heine. Before descending the ramp, sit in the isolated light-gray chair on the right. Missability: Low.
- Day 7 location spoiler — Mega AI Core, Container Area: Search the left side among the metal containers and small white crates. Sit at the little worktable hidden in the clutter. Missability: High. Use it during the Core visit.
- Day 7 location spoiler — Master’s Laboratory: Walk to the bed in the far-right rear corner. Hug its edge and take small steps until the sit prompt appears. Missability: High.
- Day 7 location spoiler — Alternate Dimension: After leaving the laboratory through the secured door, inspect the transition area immediately outside the threshold. Use the final seat before moving deeper into the area. Missability: High.
The Arrival Zone is the one confirmed no-return seat. Use every other seat on its first listed visit as well; do not count on story interiors reopening during free exploration.
Home Meal Schedule by Day
Home meals are the meals prepared in Shiro’s apartment. Snacks, cat food, and meals bought in public areas do not replace them.
| Day | Home meal availability | Route check |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | None | No home-meal action is needed. |
| Day 1 | Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Return home after the Factory shift for lunch. |
| Day 2 | Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Eat lunch before continuing to the Depot. |
| Day 3 | Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Use the shuttle after work before going to Central Hall. |
| Day 4 | Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Eat the home lunch before resuming Pivlof’s escort route. |
| Day 5 | Emergency ration, no home lunch, dinner | Eat the ration before leaving during the alarm and eat dinner after the emergency. |
| Day 6 | Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Return home for lunch after the Factory shift. |
| Day 7 | No breakfast, lunch, dinner | After the Mega AI Core sequence returns Shiro home at noon, eat lunch before checking in or leaving. |
Day 7 meal warning: The noon lunch fills the home-lunch slot skipped during Day 5’s forced emergency and completes the full home-meal sequence when every earlier available meal was eaten. Interact with the kitchen before touching the next objective.
Garden Café and Salon Meals
- Garden Café: Buy the 500 U-Point meal at the Garden bistro. U-Points are D-topia’s spending currency. This meal is separate from home lunch and can be saved for Day 7 cleanup if your first-run budget is tight.
- Salon: During Day 4’s Pivlof visit, interact with the Salon bar and take the free meal. Eat the Day 4 home lunch first; the Salon meal is an additional check, not a replacement.
Shop and Action Checks
- White Troid Shop — Day 0: Shop at the Arrival Zone souvenir counter before passing through the exit gate. Buy the potted plant and Sunnyman figure if you are collecting decorations, and make at least one purchase to record the White Troid Shop check.
- Black Troid Shop — Day 4 onward: Resident Rank is Shiro’s district access level. After reaching Rank 3, visit the luxury counter in Central Hall and buy at least one item. Its Interiors stock contains purchased decorations; Premium Canned Cat Food is a separate optional cat interaction.
- Ordinary canned cat food: Buy two cans if you want both cat-food actions in one route. Ordinary cans cost 120 U-Points at the Central Hall shop or 150 from vending machines. Give one can to the cat, then open Shiro’s inventory and have him eat the other. Paradise has now optimized species confusion.
- Speed drink — Day 3: Use a Residential Area Block Side terminal to repair the malfunctioning vending machine. Block Side is the hidden maintenance view used to reveal faults and secrets. Collect the Stimulant Drink and consume it to record the speed-drink check.
- Stimulant Drink Plus: The Day 4 quiz route asks for this item from the Blue Troid Shop. Keep that can for the request instead of drinking it.
- Rain-only Blue Troid Shop — Day 3: Buy the Rainman figure for 200 U-Points. The limited rain-themed cat food costs 140 U-Points. Obtaining both Sunnyman and Rainman completes their paired figure check.
Purchased Decorations
- Day 0, White Troid Shop: Potted plant and Sunnyman figure.
- Day 1 onward, Central Hall Shop: Check the Interiors category and buy each decoration you still need. Listings generally cost 800–1,800 U-Points.
- Day 3, Blue Troid Shop: Rainman figure while the rain shop is open.
- Day 4 onward, Black Troid Shop: Check its Interiors stock after Resident Rank 3 opens the counter.
There is no single safe spending order for every first run. Your balance depends on optional work and repairs, so buy day-specific stock first. Leave the 500-point Garden meal and expensive Interiors listings for Day 7 when needed. Do not try to buy the full decoration collection from one counter; several pieces come from resident gifts and story deliveries.
Affinity Gifts and Story Rewards
Minor resident-reward spoilers: These are not store purchases. Complete the related conversations or story event, check apartment mail, and open each delivered package.
- Day 1 — Tot: Finish his shop repair and speak to him again to receive the Houseplants decoration.
- Day 2 — Heine: After the cat rescue, open her package containing the litter box and automatic feeder.
- Day 3 — Poppy: Follow his conversations and open the message delivery containing the human-journey history books.
- Day 5 — Eebie: After the emergency, return home and open his thank-you package.
- Day 6 — Amane: Speak to her near the Factory to receive the cat bed.
- Day 6 — Pivlof: Speak to him in the Garden after his positive route to receive the vintage record collection.
- Day 6 — Nora: After the Salon decision, inspect the red lights outside the Salon in Block Side and speak to her for the Celestial Telescope. Missability: High.
- Day 6 — Mari and Sona: Check apartment mail for their reward package after completing their rescue route.
- Day 7 — Mother Facility shipment: At the Depot, speak to the Alpha Troid and open the shipment containing the Large Succulent Plants.
Open the packages and display the collected items at home. The decoration completion check counts displayed decorations, so a parcel still sitting unopened is cheerful paperwork, not finished business.
