Shelldiver Xbox Achievement Guide: All 12 Achievements
Shelldiver has 12 Xbox achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. The list follows the main power curve: Grandpa Turtle begins with a tiny oxygen tank and a bubble gun that seems to reload next Tuesday, then ends up turning the ocean into a jellyfish collection line. Most achievements unlock through normal progress, while four need a deliberate interaction or final upgrade check.
Shells are the money earned by selling captured jellyfish at the island shop. The skill tree is the star-shaped upgrade screen where you spend shells and materials found during dives. For a clean route, work on the depth and shell milestones while buying useful upgrades, then finish the special achievements before taking the final hammock nap.

Xbox platform note: Cleared Island is not part of this 12-achievement Xbox list. It belongs to the separate 13-achievement Steam list and is not included here.
The four depth achievements are worth 260G together. They only require reaching 100m, 400m, 700m, and 1000m, so a focused attempt can skip jellyfish and salvage on the way down. Watch the oxygen gauge. If a run keeps ending short, stop forcing it and buy more oxygen or movement upgrades before trying again. One useful earning dive beats repeatedly turning Grandpa Turtle into an emergency submarine pickup.
The four shell achievements are also worth 260G. Sell jellyfish through the island shop and let your shell total cross each listed target. Early spending is still useful because better capture, shop, and value upgrades speed up later gains. When you are close to 1M, 1B, 1T, or 1Q, wait before making another purchase so the displayed total can reach the milestone.
Make a Friend! — 50G
On the island, move next to another turtle and face them. Use the interaction button shown on the screen to wave. If a nearby shop or machine has the active prompt, step away and approach the turtle from a clearer side. Press the interaction button when the turtle is selected; the wave completes the requirement.
Ultra Special Rainbow Jellyfish — 80G
This achievement requires a capture, not just a sighting. When a rainbow jellyfish appears during a dive, equip the bubble gun. On controller, aim with your normal aiming control and use the bubble-gun button shown on the screen until the capture completes. Keep making productive dives and buying useful appearance or capture upgrades instead of circling one spot with an empty oxygen tank.
Built to Dive — 200G
Buy every skill-tree upgrade. This includes the four late upgrades that require materials gathered from the different maps. On controller, use the directional pad for fast, careful node-by-node checks; the stick is slower across the five-point star. Sweep each point of the star and inspect every node that still shows a cost.
If the tree looks finished but Built to Dive has not unlocked, check the material-gated upgrades and any small node surrounded by purchased skills. The last upgrades can ask for materials collected on earlier maps. Revisit those maps, gather what the remaining node needs, return to the island, and buy the final skill.
Hammock Sleep — 150G
Leave this interaction until last. After buying every skill, including the four material-gated upgrades, a new hammock repair purchase becomes available. Buy the repair, go to the hammock on the island, and press the displayed interaction button to lie down. Grandpa Turtle begins the ending cinematic, and Hammock Sleep unlocks.
Xbox cleanup and missability
None of the 12 Xbox achievements is permanently missable on a completed save. After the ending, select Continue to return to the saved island state. You can use the same file to clean up a missed wave, rainbow capture, depth mark, shell milestone, or skill purchase, so a second save is not required. Finishing those jobs before Hammock Sleep is still the tidiest route—and lets Grandpa Turtle nap without unfinished turtle business.
