Endu Shrine Gate Key and Crypt Elevator Exit

Start at the Crypt doorway beside the braziers. Another stone room, another staircase, and suddenly the coast feels three islands away. Queen's Domain gives you no in-game map, so keep three landmarks in order: club room, key altar, elevator. This trip ends with a shortcut back to familiar ground.

Descend to the Wooden Club room

Enter the Crypt and follow the ramp down to the first lower floor. Check the northern room for a chest containing the Wooden Club. If enemies crowd you on the way down, draw them back up the entrance ramp and fight with room to retreat.

Optional equipment: The Wooden Club deals Impact damage, the blunt damage type. It adds another weapon option, but collecting or equipping it is not required to reach the key. Your required route continues deeper from this room.

Find the Endu Shrine Gate Key

1. Head south from the club room. Continue to the stairs leading farther down into the Crypt.
2. Enter the lower altar chamber. Watch for skeletons as you approach. Clear those within striking distance before stopping to collect the item.
3. Check the central altar. The sparkling pickup resting on it is the Endu Shrine Gate Key. Collect it and check your inventory for that full name before leaving.

Open the elevator gate and return

From the key chamber, follow the passage on the far side of the same floor to the elevator. At its heavy barred gate, look beside the bars for a mechanism mounted on a wooden post. Operate that mechanism to open the gate, then board the lift and ride up.

If the gate tells you it is too heavy to lift, shift your aim from the bars to the mechanism beside them. You have reached the exit; the side control is the missing step.

The lift brings you to the hillside above the first Crystal Monument, your opening save point. Return to the monument and choose Save with the key secured. Rest separately if you need healing. Saving here means a failed Shrine Guardian attempt will not send you through the whole key hunt again. One more stretch of strange island now connects to a place you know.
