Fog: Levels 4-1 to 4-10

Level 4-1

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Jack-in-the Box Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Wall-Nut, Squash, Tangle Kelp, Lily Pad, Scaredy-Shroom (iPad -- your choice)

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. At the same time, plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 6th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the left
  4. Plant Wall-Nuts to the right on 7th column
  5. Plant Scaredy-shrooms, 2 each row
  6. Plant Tangle Kelps in the fog
  7. Receive Plantern.  I usually don't want to waste a slot to use this one

 

 

 

Level 4-2

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Jack-in-the Box Zombie, Football Player

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Wall-Nut, Squash, Tangle Kelp, Lily Pad, Scaredy-Shroom

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant Wall-Nuts to the right on 6th column
  5. Plant Scaredy-Shrooms two in each row
  6. Plant Tangle Kelps in the fog
  7. Use Squash for Football players; throw stuff in its path if you don't have squash available
  8. Receive Cactus

 

 

 

Level 4-3

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Balloon Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Cactus, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the right (6th column)
  5. After planting the Sun-shrooms, save up sun until you get to 125 so you have it for buying a cactus
  6. You can hear a balloon zombie blowing up its balloon; so keep your eye open and plant fast
  7. Keep a lily available to plant that Cactus
  8. Keeping 125 sun available start planting Scaredy-shrooms in each row
  9. Plant Kelps as available
  10. If necessary in the Final Wave dig up a Sun-shroom real quick to plant a Cactus
  11. Receive Blover

 

 

 

Level 4-4

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Balloon Zombie, Dolphin Rider Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Blover, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp

  1. Plant 6-8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the right (6th column)
  5. After planting the Sun-shrooms, save up sun until you get to 100 so you have it for buying Blovers
  6. You can hear a balloon zombie blowing up its balloon; so keep your eye open and plant a Blover fast
  7. Keeping 120 sun available and keep one spot open for the repeated use of Blovers; listen for the balloon before using
  8. Start planting up to 2 Scaredy-shrooms in each row
  9. Plant Kelps as available

 

 

 

Level 4-5

  • 3 levels of Vasebreaker
  • This is not timed, so take it slow and easy.
  • The green vases have plants in them
  • Break the left-most column and plant in the rows where zombies occur
  • Keep working at it
  • Receive Split Pea

 

 

 

Level 4-6

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Digger Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Jalapeno, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the right (6th column)
  5. Start planting up to 2 Scaredy-shrooms in each row while keep 50 sun back for a squash
  6. Plant Kelps as available
  7. When Digger comes; you'll see his "mole" line
  8. Dig up the sunflower or let him eat the first plant and then use a Squash or if recharging Jalapeno
  9. Receive Starfruit

 

 

 

Level 4-7

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Digger Zombie, Bucket Head, Jack-in-the-Box

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Jalapeno, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog (which is closer in on this level), 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the left
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the left (5th column)
  5. Start planting up to 2 Scaredy-shrooms in each row while keep 50 sun back for a squash
  6. Plant Kelps as available
  7. When Digger comes; you'll see his "mole" line
  8. Dig up or let him eat the first plant and then use a Squash or if recharging Jalapeno
  9. Receive Pumpkin

 

 

 

Level 4-8

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Pogo Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Chomper, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog, 5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the right (6th column)
  5. Start planting up to 2 Scaredy-shrooms in each row while keep 50 sun back for a squash to get the Pogo Zombie, whom you can kind of hear coming
  6. Plant Kelps as available
  7. Receive Magnet Shroom

 

Before  4-9, for PC/Mac

Do the Puzzle games you can get to and repeat the Wall-nut bowling until you have 20,0000

Play Wall-Nut about 3 times to get up to $20,000

Buy the 9th slot from Crazy Dave

 

 

Level 4-9

Zombies:  Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Rubber Ducky Zombie, Pogo Zombie, Balloon Zombie, Buckethead Zombie

Plants:  Sun-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Sea-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom Squash, Blover, Lily Pad, Tangle Kelp, Magnet-Shroom

  1. Plant 8 Sun-Shrooms
  2. Plant Puff- and Sea-Shrooms at the edge of the fog  5th column
  3. You can hear and see the mushroom shooting and then try to add a second one just to the right
  4. Plant 2nd line of Puff- and Sea-shrroms to the right (6th column)
  5. Start planting up to 2 Scaredy-shrooms in each row Zombie, whom you can kind of hear coming
  6. Plant Kelps as available
  7. Dig up Puff-shrooms on each side and plant Magnet-Shrooms
  8. Use Blover when you hear the first Balloon being inflated.
  9. Keep using the Blover for the rest of the level as you are done planting

 

 

 

Level 4-10

  • Use your normal planting strategy when lightning strikes
  • Get cactus in every row for Balloon Zombies
  • Spread out the Magnet-shrooms for Diggers and Pogo Sticks
