Dungeon Secrets and Hidden Pickups

Dungeons in Minishoot' Adventures are easy to mentally mark as “done” once the boss is down or the obvious reward is collected, but that is exactly how hidden pickups get left behind. Several of the most annoying late cleanup misses live inside dungeon rooms, side branches, or hidden-wall pockets that are easy to overlook on a first clear.

The safest mindset is to treat each dungeon as two passes: the first for completion, the second for secrets. On the cleanup pass, slow down and re-check the rooms that looked too simple, too empty, or just a little too clean. Those are often the places hiding a scarab, battery, heart fragment, or another small but meaningful pickup.

What to Recheck in Dungeons

  • Dead-end rooms that only seemed to contain a switch, fight, or one obvious reward.
  • Walls that look a little too flat, too clean, or slightly suspicious compared to the room around them.
  • North-east and north-west room corners, where hidden pickups are easy to miss while moving fast.
  • Side paths near major objective rooms, especially when you were focused on survival the first time through.
  • Rooms you cleared before later movement or combat powers made backtracking easier.

Completion shortcut: If you want the bigger 100% picture instead of just dungeon-specific misses, cross-check the 100% Map Completion and Collectibles Checklist. It ties these hidden pickups back to the full cleanup pass, race chain, and map-fragment sweep.

Best Cleanup Routine for Secret Pickups

  1. Reopen the dungeon only when you are in full cleanup mode, not in the middle of a different objective.
  2. Check the outer rooms first, then work back toward the core reward or boss path.
  3. After each fight room, do one slow scan before leaving so you do not miss a hidden wall or tucked-away exit.
  4. If you suspect the last missing pickup is in a dungeon, compare your sweep against the interactive map section instead of blindly replaying the whole route.

Tip: If you are missing just one or two completion items, dungeon secrets are one of the first places worth rechecking. Community completion notes specifically call out hidden-wall scarabs, batteries, and heart fragments as common late-game misses.
