- Pick up the OIL CAN
- Note the boulders to the right
- Go left
- Click on the body to talk to the ghost
- Pick up the SLINGSHOT and GRINDSTONE
- Examine the mailbox
- Use the OIL CAN and open it
- Pick up the LETTERS
- Note the burning tree
- Return to the carriage and forward to the gate
- Use the SLINGSHOT on the bird
- Examine the stump
- Pick up the PRUNERS
- Combine the PRUNERS and GRINDSTONE
- Place the LETTERS on the sign
- Pick up the 2nd PART OF WILL
- Examine the left column
- Use the SHARPENED PRUNERS on the vines
- Pick up the CROWBAR
- Back up
- Use the CROWBAR on the boulders to the right of the carriage
- Pick up the 1st PART OF WILL
- Combine the 2 PARTS of WILL
- Go left
- Give the WILL to the ghost
- He will give you a KEY TO THE GATES
- Note the journal has written down hints you did not notice before
- Return to the gates and use the KEY
- Go forward
- Examine the lantern, click on the door, and pick up the CANDLE
- Inside the door is too dark and you cannot get across the water
- Hmmm, maybe you can light the candle in the fire
- Back up twice
- Use the CANDLE in the burning tree
- The scarecrow is now a Hidden Object Scene
- Receive the CROSSPIECE
- Return to the bridge
- Place the LIT CANDLE in the lantern
- Pick up the TRAVEL BAG KEY
- Back up and examine the chest
- Use the TRAVEL BAG KEY to open the bag
- Pick up the MASON'S TOOLS
- Return to the bridge
- Examine the strange stone on the bridge
- Use the MASON'S TOOLS
- Examine for a puzzle
- Slide the tiles to complete picture on both sides
- Receive the CRUCIFORM PIECE
- Examine the water gate
- Place the CROSSPIECE and CRUCIFORM PIECE
- Click on the wheel
- You can now walk through the riverbed
