Chapter Three: Opening the Fairy Gate

Under Water

  • Use the KNIFE on the fishing net to free the propeller.
  • Click on the hatch on the right to zoom in.
  • Click on the lock to zoom in and start a mini-game.
     

Hatch Puzzle

  • The goal of the game is to rotate the cylinders so that the lines all match up.
  • See the screenshot for the solution.
  • Take the THREE-PRONGED-SPEAR.
  • Go back outside the boathouse.
     

Spear Gun

  • Click on the bench to zoom in.
  • Use the THREE-PRONGED SPEAR on the spear gun.
  • Take the SPEAR GUN.
  • Go back under the water.
     

Lever

  • Click on the gate to zoom in.
  • Use the SPEAR GUN on the lever.
  • Go forward though the door.
  • Click on the sparkles to play the hidden object scene.
     

Water HOG

  • Find the items on the list.
  • You will receive the PIPE WRENCH.
     

Ladder

  • Use the LADDER on the area where the stairs end.
  • Go forward up the stairs.
     

Library

  • Click on the desk to zoom in.
  • Take the GLUE and zoom out.
  • Click on the ladder to move it to the right.
  • Click on the top shelf to start a mini-game.
     

Ball Puzzle

  • The goal of the game is to move the red ball from one end to the other of the maze.
  • See the screenshot for the final position of the red ball.
  • Click on the open cabinet.
  • Take the BRUSH.
  • Go back one screen.
     

Chest

  • Click on the chest to zoom in.
  • This will start a mini-game.
     

Chest Puzzle

  • The goal of the game is to get the image underneath to match the top image.
  • Click on the bars and the circles under to top layer to change them up to match.
     

Chest Coin

  • Click on the chest to zoom in.
  • Click on the box in the corner to open it and zoom in.
  • Take the COIN.
     

Doll

  • Click to zoom in on the rope on the right.
  • Use the KNIFE to cut the rope.
  • Click on the doll to zoom in.
  • Take the PART OF THE PENDANT.
  • Go back one screen.
     

Propeller

  • Click on the propeller to zoom in.
  • Use the PIPE WRENCH on the propeller.
  • Take the PROPELLER.
  • Use the BRUSH on the side of the boat to reveal the word BREEZE.
  • Go forward one screen and play the HOS.
     

Underwater Hidden Object Scene

  • Find the items on the list.
  • You will receive the WIRE CUTTERS.
  • Go back two screens.
     

Breeze

  • Click on the boat to zoom in.
  • Click on the glove compartment to zoom in again.
  • Enter the code BREEZE.
  • Take the OILER from the glove compartment.
  • Go back one screen.
     

Valve

  • Click on the valve on the right to zoom in.
  • Use the OILER on the valve.
  • Turn the valve.
  • Take the VALVE.
     

Phone

  • Click on the phone to zoom in.
  • Use the COIN on the phone.
  • Click on the numbers to dial: 2, 3, 1, 9, 4
  • Listen to the message.
  • Take the SUN FIGURINE that falls out.
  • Go back one screen to the scarecrow.
     

Scarecrow

  • Click on the scarecrow to zoom in.
  • Use the WIRE CUTTERS on the wires.
  • Go in the house and into the kitchen.
     

Propeller

  • Click on the vent to zoom in.
  • Use the PROPELLER on the vent.
  • A note will fly out.
  • Take the FUSE BOX SCHEMATIC.
     

Pipe

  • Click on the pipe below the sink.
  • Use the PIPE WRENCH on the pipe.
  • Take the GEAR.
  • Use the WIRE CUTTERS on the chains on the fridge.
     

Bug Spray

  • Click to open the fridge.
  • Take the BUG SPRAY.
  • Go back outside to the scarecrow.
     

Kills Bugs

  • Use the BUG SPRAY on the bugs.
  • Click to zoom in on the half pendant.
  • Use the PART OF THE PENDANT on the half.
  • Take the ENGRAVED PENDANT.
  • Go into the shed.
     

Fuse Box

  • Click to zoom in on the fuse box.
  • Use the FUSE BOX SCHEMATIC on the ripped part.
     

Cellar

  • Click on the switch for the cellar.
  • Go to the cellar.
     

Valve

  • Click on the pipe on the left to zoom in.
  • Use the VALVE on the pipe.
  • Click the valve to turn it.
  • Click on the  grate in the back to zoom in.
  • Use the GEAR and click on the button.
  • This will raise the dumbwaiter.
  • Go back under water and to the library.
     

Sun Shelf

  • Click to move the ladder to the center shelf.
  • Click to zoom in on the grate.
  • Use the SUN FIGURINE on the empty slot.
     

Engraving

  • Click on the microscope to zoom  in.
  • Use the ENGRAVED PENDANT on the microscope. 
  • Click to look at the pendant and see M.A.J. 73.
  • Return to the house.
     

Type Writer

  • Click on the typewriter to zoom in.
  • Type MAJ73.
  • Note the code on the paper.
  • Go up the stairs.
     

Safe

  • Click on the safe on the wall.
  • Input the combination that you got from the paper on the typewriter on the top.
  • Input MAJ73 on the bottom.
  • Click to look inside the safe.
  • Click on the book to read it.
  • Take the FIGURINE PART.
  • Grab the FILM REEL on the floor.
  • Go to the kitchen.
     

Figurine

  • Click on the dumbwaiter to zoom in.
  • Use the FIGURINE PART on the figurine part that is lying in the dumbwaiter.
  • Use the GLUE on the parts to fix it.
  • Take the FIGURINE.
  • Return to the library room under water.
     

Shelf

  • Click on the ladder to move it to the left spot.
  • Click on the top shelf to zoom in.
  • Use the FIGURINE on the slot.
  • Click on the lever.
  • The middle shelf will rotate.
     

Book

  • Click on the ladder to move it to the middle area.
  • Click to zoom in on the shelf.
  • Take the FAIRY GATE TALES book.
  • Click back on the shelf.
  • Read the newspaper and take the FILM REEL.
  • Go back to the shed.
     

Attic Fuse

  • Click on the fuse box to zoom in.
  • Click on the bottom left switch to shut off power to the upstairs attic.
  • Go to the house and go upstairs.
     

Films

  • Click on the projector to zoom in.
  • Click on the red button.
  • Watch the movie.
  • Use both FILM REELS on the projector and press the red button to watch.
  • One of the films will be of Mr. Dudley opening the door in the cellar.
  • Go to the cellar.
     

Door

  • Click on the back wall.
  • Check your journal to see the pattern you need to form on the door in order to open it.
  • Click on each of the red markers to place them in the correct position.
  • Click on the door to open it.
  • Enter the first Fairy tale.
