PC Release, Console Launch and Version Notes

Following old directions to find Etienne can leave you investigating an empty room. Before retracing your steps through the manor, check whether those directions match your version of The Seance of Blake Manor. A changed location or clue requirement can explain the mismatch.

EditionSeptember 2, 2026 update
Full game on PCPatch 1.1.12.360
Demo on PCVersion 1.1.2.337

These are separate PC version numbers. 1.1.12.360 is a dated full-game patch reference, not a claim about the latest build. That patch changed some action time costs, evidence unlock conditions and mindmaps—the journal’s linked clue boards. It also changed Etienne’s whereabouts and related timetable dialogue. Older instructions may therefore disagree with your game.

If a deduction stalls, first check your installed version and whether you are playing the demo or full game. Then inspect the evidence you already hold and review the relevant open lead, meaning an unfinished line of inquiry on a mindmap. Look for a new connection or an available hypothesis, the deduction you can attempt. Check the displayed action cost before starting another conversation or inspection. If nothing changes, follow another open lead before assuming the case is broken. There are still private letters and suspicious stories to piece together.
