- Locate hidden objects to complete SHEPHERD, MUSICAL NOTES and begin to assemble NEUTRALIZING AGENT, MIRROR and FLOWER.
- Place the SHEPHERD on the music box.
- Place the MUSICAL NOTES on the music box and take the hidden piece.
- Go down the staircase on the left.
- Locate hidden objects to complete BUTTERFLY, WIRE CUTTER and BUTTON FOR REMOTE and begin to assemble PUZZLE PIECES and DULL KNIFE.
- Use the WIRE CUTTER on the chains on the crate in the middle of the floor..
- Click on the table and place the BUTTERFLY on the box to reveal a hidden piece..
- Use the BUTTON FOR REMOTE on the short spring and watch the cutscene.
- Go up the stairs.
- Pick up the piece on the landing deck outside.
- Use the MIRROR on the broken mirror and walk through.
- Locate the hidden objects to complete all the STAINED GLASS FRAGMENTS.
- Click on the TV screen for a news update.
- Click on the stained glass gate and place the STAINED GLASS FRAGMENTS in the matching shaped slots.
- Go back through the mirror.
- Take the piece in the doorway.
- Use the NEUTRALIZING AGENT on the beaker on the table.
- Go upstairs.
- Locate hidden objects to complete LIGHT BULB and begin to assemble CHAIN, RECORD, KEY and VALVE.
- Use the LIGHT BULB on the lamp and take the hidden piece from the lamp.
- Click on the lit wall under the lamp and take the LAYOUT.
- Use the LAYOUT on the microscope.
- Take the hidden piece and notice the symbols.
- Put the CHAIN on the gears and take the hidden piece on the left side of the fan.
- Go downstairs.
- Click on the lock on the cabinet on the table. Unlock by clicking on the tumblers to rotate and match the formula displayed in the upper left.
- Take the hidden piece from inside the cabinet.
- Use the FLOWER on the mechanical flower pot.
- Go upstairs.
- Take the hidden piece on the center of the flower.
- Use the KEY on the lock and take the hidden piece from inside the cabinet.
- Place the RECORD on the gramophone.
- Take the hidden piece from the gramophone speaker.
- Place the VALVE on the stem on the pipe and turn it.
- Watch the cutscene and go down two sets of stairs.
- Pick up the piece needed to complete the DULL KNIFE.
- Click on the table and turn on the switch to start the grinding stone.
- Use the DULL KNIFE on the grinding stone to get a SHARP KNIFE.
- Use the SHARP KNIFE on the crate behind the table to get a LEVER.
- Use the LEVER on the switch on the post to the left.
- Go up two flights of stairs and turn the blue valve on the pipe and go back downstairs.
- Pull the LEVER and take the hidden piece from the corner of the stained glass window above the bike.
- Use the PUZZLE PIECES on the crate.
- Solve the puzzle by using a piece from the middle on the left and right boards - there should only be one of each kind in a row or column. See screenshot for solution.
- Take the SNAKE from the now opened crate.
- Go up one flight of stairs and go back through the portal in the mirror.
- Use the SNAKE on the lock in the center of the room and go through the newly opened portal to Chapter 5.
