Which Crafting Bench Makes Your Gear?

In RuneScape: Dragonwilds, use the Blacksmith's Bench for tools and melee gear, the Fletching Bench for bows and ammunition, the Armour Bench for armour, and the Mystic Forge for staves. Use this table to pick the specialist station for your next equipment goal.

You finally get home with a backpack full of supplies, then search three crafting menus for one pair of trousers. Before making another gathering trip, match the item to its bench above and select its recipe. Your modest camp starts to feel like a proper expedition base when each workshop stop moves you toward better gear.

Keep the Crafting Table: some starter equipment still uses it. For example, the Stone Pickaxe is made there. The specialist benches do not take over every Crafting Table recipe.

Crossbow Limbs and Finished Crossbows Use Different Benches

If you can find a crossbow but cannot make its limbs, switch stations. The limbs are an ingredient, not the finished weapon.

  1. At the Fletching Bench, select the crossbow you want. Check which limbs and other ingredients its recipe requires.
  2. At the Blacksmith's Bench, select and craft the matching crossbow limbs once you have their required materials.
  3. Return to the Fletching Bench with the limbs and the remaining ingredients. Select the completed crossbow recipe and craft it.

Check Capes by Their Individual Recipe

Capes do not all belong to one station. Check the specific cape's recipe and use its listed station rather than assuming every cape comes from the Armour Bench or Mystic Forge.

The right bench does not cover missing materials. Select your target item and read its requirements before heading out. You can also review crafting requirements in the Journal, your in-game reference menu. Write down the missing ingredients and quantities, then gather for that one upgrade. It gives your next trip a clear purpose and leaves fewer backpack slots tied up with supplies you do not need yet.
