FAQ, Patch Notes, and Known Issues
If a stage suddenly feels broken, check the simple stuff first: make sure the game is updated, restart the level instead of bailing out mid-objective, and re-read the exact task wording before you assume the stage is bugged. Lost and Found Co. really does hide items in awkward layers, but there are also a few official issues and patch fixes worth knowing.
Quick FAQ
- What platforms is the game on? As of April 19, 2026, the Steam store lists Windows and macOS, and the official Steam FAQ points players to the Steam release first while other platforms are still future announcements.
- What languages are supported? The official FAQ lists English, Thai, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The Steam store shows full English audio plus interface and subtitle support for those four store languages.
- How long is the game? The official FAQ says there are 11 Story levels and 16 Request levels, with around 10 hours for a normal clear and around 20 hours for completionists.
- Can you restart without wiping everything? Yes. From the Lobby, open Settings and use Clear All Data to restart the whole game, or enter a stage and use Reset Stage if you only want to replay that level.
- Are item locations random? No. The developers say every object is hand-placed.
- Was AI used for the art? No. The official FAQ says the art and animation are hand-drawn.
Known issues still worth remembering
- Save risk after a fresh pickup: the official FAQ warns that progress may not save correctly if you exit a stage immediately after collecting an item.
- Missing key characters: the official FAQ also warns that leaving the lobby or quitting the game without speaking to key characters can make them disappear and block progress in some cases.
Patch notes worth knowing
As of April 19, 2026, the most recent official patch note surfaced on Steam is Patch 1.0.6, posted on April 1, 2026. That update fixed incorrect fonts in various UI elements.
Patch 1.0.5, posted on March 31, 2026, is the bigger gameplay-relevant one for guide readers. It fixed the Talk to Mallet softlock, cleaned up several interface and localization problems, updated Ducky's Room tutorial support, and fixed the Allergy Season time-change issue.
Patch 1.0.3, posted on March 19, 2026, fixed disappearing key characters, the immediate-exit save problem, the What an Unlucky Day energy drink side quest, Apartment Apocalypse graffiti cleanup, and The Cursed Memento camera freeze. If you are following an older post about one of those issues, there is a good chance the current build already solved it.
