Chapter 4: Stone Heart
- Take the CORKSCREW and RULER from the wardrobe.
- Go to the Dining Room.
- Open the Kitchen door with the RULER.
- Enter the Kitchen.
- Find Beyond Object #13.
- Open the bottle with the CORKSCREW.
- Fill the glass.
- Take the HOCK CUP and the CORK.
- Take the KNIFE from the drawer.
- Slice the CHEESE.
- Take the PORTRAIT and POT from the cabinet.
- Place the POT next to the barrel of water.
- Go to the Elevator.
- Find Beyond Object #14.
- Take the CHAMOMILE.
- Go to the Dining Room.
- Give the HOCK CUP to Chloe.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Move the fruit bowl to get the newspaper scrap.
- Zoom into the pot on the table to get the acorn, bullet, and thimble.
- Receive the TELESCOPE.
- Return to the Boy’s Room.
- Place the TELESCOPE on the tripod.
- View a constellation.
- Zoom into the hanging bird.
- Press the buttons on the bird that match the stars in the constellation to open a space in the bird.
- Take the PIECE OF HOSE.
- Go to the Elevator.
- Place the PIECE OF HOSE on the elevator motor.
- Pull the handle to go to the Cellar.
- Find Beyond Object #15.
- Tempt the mouse out of the hole with the CHEESE.
- Take the MOUSE.
- Take the BROOM and SLED.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Look in the chest to get the peapod and cigar.
- Receive the ROSE.
- Go to the Dining Room via the elevator.
- Arrange the flowers as shown in the picture above the fireplace to open the secret compartment.
- Sweep away the cobwebs with the BROOM.
- Take the PORTRAIT and HOOK.
- Go to the Library and zoom into the Family Tree.
- Place the PORTRAITS on the Family Tree.
- Receive the SKULL-SHAPED KEY.
- Return to the Dining Hall.
- Unlock the winter scene painting with the SKULL-SHAPED KEY.
- Enter the winter scene.
- Find Beyond Object #16.
- Take the EGG and LADLE from the roof.
- Place the SLED by the stone to put the stone on the sled.
- Click on the sled to make it slide down the hill and break the door to the Sculptor’s Workshop.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Move the plaid blanket to get the number 7.
- Receive the SILVER SKULL.
- Zoom into the house with columns on the porch.
- Find Beyond Object #17.
- Take the GEAR from the mailbox.
- Enter the Sculptor’s Workshop.
- Find Beyond Object #18.
- Stop up the fountain with the CORK.
- LADLE water out of the fountain.
- Take the GOLD SKULL.
- Place the GEAR on the column.
- Attach the HOOK to the rope.
- Click the crank to lift the stone.
- Take the portrait and the key.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Zoom into the box on the shelf at the top right to get the ring and the heart.
- Receive the FISHING ROD.
- Enter the Sculptor’s House with the key.
- Find Beyond Object #19.
- Place the GOLD SKULL and SILVER SKULL in their appropriate place on the chest to initiate a mini-game.
- The object of the mini-game is to place each skull in its appropriate space.
- Click a skull to move it.
- Skulls may only be moved to an empty slot.
- See screenshot for solution.
- When finished, take the PORTRAIT and the GRINDSTONE.
- Return to the Sculptor’s Workshop.
- Place the GRINDSTONE on the grinding machine to initiate a mini-game.
- Place items 1, 2, and 3 where indicated.
- Silhouettes will appear for the placement of remaining items.
- Go to the Cemetery.
- Find Beyond Object #20.
- Retrieve the TONGS from the hole in the ice with the FISHING ROD.
- Go to the Sculptor’s House.
- Open the deer’s mouth with the TONGS.
- Take the DIAMOND-SHAPED KEY.
- Go to the Cellar.
- Open the storage bin on the upper right with the DIAMOND-SHAPED KEY.
- Take the PORTRAIT and the DUSTPAN.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Zoom into the chest on the upper left to get the onion and can opener.
- Receive the LOGS.
- Go to the front of the Sculptor’s House.
- Place the logs on the stump.
- Enter the Sculptor’s Workshop.
- Use the DUSTPAN to move the coals and find the HEART.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
- Find the items listed.
- Receive the SHOVEL.
- Go to the Cemetery.
- Find Beyond Object #21.
- Put the HEART in the GRAVESTONE.
- Dig out the coffin of the sculptor’s wife with the SHOVEL.
- Talk to the sculptor.
- Take the AXE.
- Enter the Sculptor’s Workshop.
- Sharpen the AXE to get the SHARP AXE.
- Return to the front of the Sculptor’s House.
- Play the Hidden Object Area by the fountain.
- Find the items listed.
- Move the plaid blanket to get the knife.
- Receive the STONE FIGURINE.
- Zoom into the stump to play the mini game.
- The object of the game is to split the logs with the SHARP AXE.
- Receive FIREWOOD.
- Go to the Cemetery.
- Zoom into the coffin.
- Place the STONE FIGURINE on the coffin.
- Arrange the stone figurines in a row in the center of the puzzle.
- Take the GOLD KEY from the skeleton.
- Go to the Sculptor’s House.
- Open the case with the GOLD KEY.
- Take the PORTRAIT and the VALVE HANDLE.
- Go to the Kitchen.
- Place the VALVE HANDLE on the barrel tap.
- Fill the pot with water to get the POT OF WATER.
- Place the POT OF WATER on the stove.
- Place the FIREWOOD in the stove.
- Light the FIREWOOD with the LIGHTER.
- Take the POT OF BOILING WATER.
- Return to the front of the Sculptor’s House.
- Pour the POT OF BOILING WATER on the PICKAXE.
- Take the PICKAXE.
- Go to the Dining Room.
- Open the statue with the PICKAXE.
- Take the SKULL.
- Go to the Cemetery.
- Place the SKULL in the coffin.
- Return to the Dining Room.
- Talk to Chloe.
- Play the Hidden Object Area.
