Chapter 1: Séance

The following contains screenshots and instructions on how to complete Chapter 1 from the CGG House of 1000 Doors Family Secrets Walkthrough.

• Take the KNIFE. Zoom into the parcel and cut the string with the KNIFE.


• Start the typewriter with the WIND-UP KEY. The typewriter works, but has no paper.


• Open the cabinet. Take the GOLDEN FEATHER.


• Take the INK and SHEET OF PAPER. Insert the SHEET OF PAPER in the typewriter and restart the typewriter. Take the DEPLETED RIBBON.


• Open the jewelry box above the fireplace with the GOLDEN FEATHER.


• Take the TWEEZERS.


• Pour the INK into the empty tray. Soak the DEPLETED RIBBON in the ink-filled tray.


• Retrieve the now REPLENISHED RIBBON with the TWEEZERS.


• Place the REPLENISHED RIBBON in the typewriter.


• Restart the typewriter.


• Read the note.

• Retrieve the DIAMOND with the cane. Open the suitcase to get the CLUB.


• Zoom into the séance table at the end of the corridor.


• From the table, take the SPADE and the KEY that is under the playing cards.


• Return to the corridor.


• Open the case by the falcon with the KEY and take the HEART.


• Place the DIAMOND, CLUB, SPADE, and HEART in their proper places on the cabinet door.


• Take the SCISSORS from the open cabinet.


• Return to the séance table.


• Use the SCISSORS to cut the wire.
