Cross-Platform Progress: Account and Server Checklist

Aniimo already gives you enough menus to sift through when all you want is one more catch. Opening another device and finding character creation adds a whole new detour. Before starting over, check your account and server. Your favorite companion’s next trip through Idyll, the game’s world, should continue the adventure you meant to load.

Shared progress requires the same Aniimo Pass account and the same server. Aniimo Pass is the game account used to link your platform logins. Matching only one of those requirements is not enough: different accounts and different servers hold separate progress.

Before your first console login

Do this before creating a character: Have your existing Aniimo Pass email ready. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox, the popup for linking an existing Pass appears only the first time that PSN or Microsoft account logs into Aniimo. Skipping it creates a new Pass and prevents that console account from linking to an existing Pass afterward.

On PS5, check your PSN account’s registered region before linking. It sets your server automatically. For example, United States and Canada map to Aniimo-America; United Kingdom, France, and Germany map to Aniimo-Europe; Australia and Japan map to Aniimo-Apac. Compare that assignment with your existing character’s server. If you are starting fresh elsewhere and plan to use PS5 later, make this check before choosing your first server.

Use this order when changing devices

  1. Confirm the account you want to keep. On the device where your adventure loads correctly, note your Aniimo Pass email, login method, server, and character name. Also record the character’s UID, its identifying number, if displayed. Your console’s sign-in email alone does not confirm which Aniimo Pass is linked.
  2. Complete the matching account link. On a console account’s first login, use the popup to link your existing Pass. On Steam, use the email-linking prompt; if you skipped it, open the in-game Email Link page. With a third-party login on mobile, complete the Link Email prompt and its verification. Follow your platform’s displayed steps: these routes have different restrictions.
  3. Match the server. Where server selection is available, choose the exact server recorded from your original device. On PS5, confirm the assigned server matches. Linking accounts does not transfer a character between servers.
  4. Continue the existing character. Select your established character if a selection screen appears. Once loaded, check its name, UID if shown, and familiar progress before continuing your collection or training your team.

If your character seems to be missing

  1. Check account identity first. Compare the linked Aniimo Pass and login method with your original device. Do not assume an email login and a third-party sign-in lead to the same account just because they show the same email address.
  2. Check the server next. Return to server selection where available and choose your original server. A different server can explain why the expected character is absent.
  3. Pause at unexpected character creation. Return to the original device and confirm that your established adventure still loads. Use its account and server details to check the new device again.
  4. Get account help if the link is blocked. If you skipped the console popup, do not expect a restart to reopen that linking opportunity. Contact in-game Customer Support with your platform, server, character UID, and the exact error or prompt. If a new-user mobile third-party email-linking prompt was skipped, contact support for that issue too.

Keep your established character intact while sorting out the link. Separate characters do not automatically merge, and account linking does not combine progress across servers. Once the right adventure loads, you can get back to building a capable team around the companions you actually love.
