How to Get Level 2 Contactless Access

The Lobby computer is a rough place to watch the last power block disappear. Give each loop one goal: save a card in K9, then use that access on the next trip. K9 is Miranda’s record of scanned access cards and clues. This route starts in her bedroom with a fresh loop’s power.

Hint: The Lobby password

Check the Lobby computer’s Forgot Password hint. The first Horizon Probe display gives one part of the name. The other display needs power. Once its recording is saved in K9, replay it while standing inside the yellow circle on the Lobby floor.

Spoiler: Bedroom to Level 2 contactless access

  1. Loop 1 — Miranda’s bedroom: On Miranda’s computer, select Forgot Password. Its hint points to the nearby book Stardust; use that title to log in. Read the Optima Vault email and note the safe date in your playthrough. Open the container beside the hall map and read the safe-reset leaflet. Back at the bedroom safe, enter /000/, then enter your date in the day/month/year format shown on its screen. Open the safe, take Miranda’s Level 1 ID card, and scan the barcode on its back into K9.
  2. Loop 1 — Kitchen and Emergency Pharmacy: Open the Kitchen door. At the sitting area’s round device, press the green button and turn the hologram’s sections until their lines join. Copy the pattern that appears on the ceiling into the Dock System panel. Take the battery beneath the equation board. Switch the Dock System to the Robot Area, put that battery in the Emergency Pharmacy, and add the battery beside the nearby computer. Switch to Cultivation, take the battery beside the locked chest, and switch back to the Robot Area. Put the last battery in the Pharmacy, pull its handle, and select Pod Bay Access on its screen. Scan the printed card’s back before ending this loop. With the power spent, use the arcade machine in the Kitchen’s Storage Room to reset.
  3. Loop 2 — Pod Bay and Cultivation: Go through the Kitchen and use your saved Pod Bay access at the Pod Bay door. Take the adjustable key from Miranda’s locker. Switch the Kitchen Dock System to Cultivation and turn the key’s teeth to match the locked chest’s keyhole. Take Amaan’s damaged Level 2 card to the Pod Bay’s Access Card Builder. Read the identifier on the front of your card and enter it on the Builder screen. Insert the damaged card into the Builder’s slot.
  4. Loop 2 — Access Card Builder: Match the surviving barcode marks on Amaan’s card. Each digit uses three bars with separate top and bottom sections. For the damaged digits 3, 8, and 6, open Miranda’s scanned Level 1 card in K9 and copy the matching bar patterns. Print Amaan’s replacement card and scan its back in this loop. The identifier and Miranda’s safe date can differ between playthroughs, so read your own objects instead of copying another set of numbers. Reset at the Storage Room arcade machine when you need fresh power.
  5. Next powered loop — Lobby display: Go through the Kitchen and use Level 2 access at the Lobby door. Up the steps, select Forgot Password on the computer; it asks for the Horizon Probe creator’s first and last name. Play the first Horizon Probe display’s recording for the first name. At the second display, follow its red wire behind the case and open the circuit hatch. Read the charge values and slot effects on the panel. Place all five charges so its readout reaches 12 V. One working layout puts blue in the upper-left slot, red directly below it, green in the lower-left slot, pink in the upper-right slot, and yellow in the lower-right slot. Check the readout, then play the restored display’s fast recording.
  6. Same Lobby loop — audio, login, and K9 update: Open K9’s audio records, stand inside the yellow floor circle, and replay Jigsaw.wav. The slowed voice gives the surname Petrov; the first display gives Igor. Enter igorpetrov at the Lobby computer. Select the wireless icon along the bottom, choose Update K9, and scan the QR code on screen to install contactless access.

K9 keeps the scanned Level 1, Pod Bay, and Level 2 access records, the saved audio, and the contactless upgrade after a reset. Loose cards, batteries, and the key do not travel with you. If power runs out before the Lobby update, restart in Miranda’s bedroom, check K9 for Level 2 access, and head through the Kitchen to the Lobby. After the upgrade, continue at the contactless Connector door off the Lobby or at Amaan’s bedroom in the crew corridor.
