PEAK Crossplay Platforms and Player Limit
That promising wall becomes a dead end just as your stamina runs dry. Having a friend ready to help makes a fine rescue story—but first, everyone needs a seat in the expedition. PEAK supports crossplay, meaning friends on different supported platforms can play together in the same online group.
Check everyone's platform
As of October 26, 2026, these platforms can play together. Your group can mix any of them:
- Windows PC through Steam
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- Nintendo Switch 2
PEAK originally released on June 16, 2025. The console launch and crossplay milestone followed on October 22, 2026. Those are separate dates; the console arrival was not the game's original release.
Count four scouts, including the host
A standard PEAK group holds four players total: one host and up to three friends. The host is the player running the session and takes one of those four seats. Count everyone before sending invites. If a friend cannot join and four people are already in the group, the session is full; make room or arrange a separate expedition.
PEAK has no online matchmaking. It will not automatically find teammates for you. Arrange your own group, choose a host, and agree who is joining before you start. Crossplay widens your choice of climbing partners; it does not add extra seats.
Go solo when the crew is unavailable
Offline solo play needs no online subscription. If nobody is available, you can still start an expedition alone. You will have to manage without a teammate's helping hand, but the mountain is ready whenever you are.
