Chapter Six: Oil – 1905
- Notice the pattern; collect the candle.
- Notice the path the Hacienda Gates and the Oil Well.
- Move to the Smithy.
- Notice the scales mini-game on the table.
- Examine the furnace.
- Collect the shears and take note of the mini-game underneath it.
- Move down once and move ahead to the Oil Well.
- Examine the entrance to the Oil Well Pump.
- Click the sign to trigger a mini-game.
- Solve the game by moving the rings to turn the text right side up.
- Move into the Oil Well Pump.
- Collect the flint and steel.
- Select the shears to use on tile.
- Solve the game by making 2 cuts so that the pieces will create a square when put together.
- Make the incisions as indicated by the yellow lines.
- Move down 2 times and move to the left of the Hacienda Gates.
- Insert the candle into the lantern.
- Ignite it using the flint and steel.
- Click the 3 cubes at the top of the gate 3 times.
- Collect the photographs and the key.
- Insert the key into the lock and move ahead.
- Speak to John Maxi.
- Collect the lever.
- Move ahead.
- Click the portrait and collect the note and the blueprint.
- Collect the pitcher.
- Click the 3 pieces of paper and collect the spy device.
- Click the cupboard to trigger a hidden objects area.
- Find the listed items.
- Collect the handle and attach it to the broom bristles; collect the broom.
- Select the feather and place it into the ink; collect the inkwell.
- Click the cabinet; collect the towel, the scepter and the cactus.
- Click the pot; collect the tongs.
- Move down once.
- Place the pitcher into the fountain; collect the pitcher of water.
- Move down 2 times and move into the Smithy.
- Select the tongs to use on the 8 units of gold.
- Click the scales mini-game on the left.
- Place the 8 units of gold onto the left platform.
- Solve the game by moving the crucibles to get 4 units into one of the containers.
- Collect the 4 units of gold.
- Click the table to trigger a mini-puzzle.
- Attach the lever onto the device and click the lid.
- Pour the 4 units of gold into the hole followed by the pitcher of water.
- Click the lid then the lever; collect the ring blank to solve the puzzle.
- Place the blueprint onto the device.
- Place the ring blank into the middle.
- Select the flint and steel to ignite the candle.
- Examine the chart and click the 2 colored gemstones that create the color in the illuminated area.
- Collect the wedding ring.
- Move down and go to the Hacienda Gates then move ahead.
- Give John Maxi the wedding ring.
- Collect the engine key.
- Move down 2 times, go to the Oil Well and move into the Oil Well Pump.
- Select the engine key and insert it into the lock to trigger a mini-game.
- Solve the game by inserting the gears to make the gears turn.
- Move down 2 times and move to the left 2 times.
- Collect the potion recipe.
- Move into the Fountain.
