Go to the cemetery (to the town crossroads, left toward the docks, and left to the cemetery)
Use the magnifying glass to focus in on the area to the right, and use your shovel to dig up the wooden block.
Go to the Sawmill (to the town crossroads, forward to the north gate, left to the Mill)
Once you use the wooden block to open the chest, a puzzle will begin. Solve by shifting the middle piece (1) to group the lighter beads in groups of two (2). Then group all four beads together and move to the middle to solve. (3) Retrieve the bamboo
Go back to the North gate and left toward the docks – go right past the fishing hut over the bridge to the statue of pan. Give the bamboo flute to Pan and a mini puzzle will start. [Solve the bottom row first (1), then the middle (2), then the top (3) to retrieve the wooden gear]
Go to the North gate and then left to the Sawmill. Enter the Sawmill and go to the rear of the room where the machinery is.
On the right there is a piece missing. Place the wooden gear here. (1)
A log will get cut. Collect the cut log and exit. (2)
Continue past the broken wagon until you reach the fork in the road. Go left to the top of the waterfall.
Place the log there – it will interrupt the water flow.
Go back to the town crossroads.
Go left toward the docks, and right to the waterfall. You have found the fourth girl.

All the symbols over the scrambled words have something in common. Click on the letters to change them.
Sun, bananas, flower: Yellow
Ice cream, snowflake, mountaintop: Cold
Rooster, cannon, trumpet: Loud
Wheel, coin, cookie: Round
Some of these symbols (runes) will be copied into your journal to be used later. Go to the town crossroads, and right to the schoolhouse.
Once inside, click on the chalkboard to solve the puzzle. Select the letters at the bottom to change them (see journal). The answer is:
To remedy a fiendish tongue, use an elixir that is sticky and sweet.
Go to the town crossroads and forward past the North Gate to the Maple Shed.
Solve the hidden object puzzle to retrieve the maple syrup. Go back to the Town Crossroads and left to the waterfall.
Give the maple syrup to the girl. It will heal her and she will give you the skull shaft.
