Chapter Six: Cave Exploration

Chasm

  • Examine the chasm.
  • Attach the rope ladder to the wood beam.
  • Move down to the caves.

 

Torch

  • Examine the torch.
  • Collect the unlit torch and the bomb.
  • Read the note.
  • Speak to the woman.
  • Collect the 3 / 3 coins.
  • Examine the door and place the bomb down.
  • Move to the Ardennes forest.

 

Tree

  • Examine the tree.
  • Place the unlit torch into the resin; collect the torch resin.
  • Move to the cliff.

 

Fire

  • Examine the fire.
  • Place the torch with resin near the flames to ignite the torch.
  • Collect the lit torch.
  • Move to the caves.

 

Bomb

  • Examine the door.
  • Ignite the bomb using the lit torch.
  • Place the lit torch into the dark cave.
  • A mini-game will trigger.
  • Click the arrows towards the levers in the sequence (1-6) to complete the game.

 

Rose Oil Scent

  • Select the scent catcher (1) and click the rose oil scent to collect it (2).
  • Examine the paper; collect the vanity potion recipe.
  • Examine the fence; collect the ginger.
  • Move to the Grasse Quarters.

 

Coins

  • Examine the device.
  • Insert the 3 coins into the device.
  • Click the hidden objects area.

 

Hidden Object Area 1

  • Find the listed items.
  • Select the corkscrew and uncork the bottle.
  • Select the tweezers and remove the scroll; collect the scroll.
  • Select the scissors use them to cut the painting.
  • Collect the sledgehammer.
  • Move down one time.

 

Fence

  • Examine the fence.
  • Select the sledgehammer to strike the board; collect the board.
  • Move to the Lakeshore.

 

Raft

  • Examine the raft and attach the board to it.
  • Move to the island.
  • Click the hidden objects area.

 

Hidden Object Area 2

  • Find the listed items.
  • Click the turtle and select the hammer.
  • Use the hammer to crack the bottle and collect the rose.
  • Select the knife. Use it to slice the apple.
  • Collect the worm and give it to the bird; collect the compass.
  • Move to the Grasse Quarters.

 

Bag

  • Examine the bag and insert the compass.
  • Click the needle until the 4 straps loosen; collect the shovel.
  • Move to the island.

 

Bucket

  • Collect the bucket.
  • Examine the wood; collect the Liana.
  • Examine the bamboo and collect the 1/ 2 small weight.
  • Move to the Grasse entrance.

 

Well

  • Examine the well; attach the bucket to the hook.
  • Click the lever and collect the bucket with water.
  • Move to the island.

 

Soil

  • Examine the soil; use the shovel to dig up the soil.
  • Select the scent catcher (1) and click the mandrake scent to collect it (2).
  • Move to the Grasse Quarters.

 

Oven

  • Examine the oven.
  • Insert the bucket and place the ginger into the bucket.
  • Select the scent catcher (1) and click the ginger scent to collect it (2).
  • Click the alchemy kit.
  • Pour the scents (A-E) into the flask and click the mix button.
  • Collect the vanity potion.
  • Move down one time.

 

Door

  • Examine the door.
  • Pour the vanity potion into the funnel.
  • Go into the Alchemist’s Lair.
  • Click the hidden objects area.

Hidden Object Area 3

  • Find the listed items.
  • Select the pliers and use them to open the cage.
  • Collect the cat.
  • Select the grain and place it into the bowl.
  • Select the pestle to grind the grain and give it to the chicken.
  • Collect the magnet.

 

Tools

  • Examine the table; click the 2 alchemical tools.
  • Collect the reel and read the note.
  • Move to the Grasse Quarters.

 

Rod

  • Examine the rod.
  • Attach the reel and the magnet to the rod.
  • Collect the fishing rod.
  • Move to the Lakeshore.

 

Shore

  • Examine the shore.
  • Place the fishing rod into the water; collect the 2/ 2 small weights.
  • Move to the Alchemist’s Lair.

 

Curtain

  • Click the curtain and examine the cabinet.
  • Place the 2 small weights onto the scale; a mini-game will trigger.
  • To solve the game use this sequence:
  • Left liquid: 300 red – 300 blue and click the mix button
  • Middle liquid: 400 red - 200 green – 200 blue and click the mix button
  • Right liquid: 400 red – 400 green and click the mix button

 

Women

  • Speak to the woman.
  • Collect the gun.
  • Move to the island.

 

Gun

  • Examine the door.
  • Select the gun and shoot the door.
  • A mini-game will trigger.

 

Button Game

  • To solve the game click the buttons as shown.
  • Move into the Lake House.

 

Hammock

  • Examine the hammock; collect the hammock.
  • Click the trapdoor.
  • Examine the bag; read the book.
  • Speak to the woman.
  • Examine the lock; pour the corrosion potion onto it.
  • Click the lock.
  • Click the hidden objects area.

 

Hidden Object Area 4

  • Find the listed items.
  • Collect the dragon, click the door and collect the machete.
  • Move to the island.

 

Wood

  • Examine the wood.
  • Use the machete to cut the rope.
  • Examine the bamboo; use the machete to cut the bamboo.
  • Collect the bamboo sticks.
  • Move into the Lake House.

 

Floor

  • Examine the floor.
  • Attach the bamboo sticks and the hammock to the bamboo sticks.
  • Place Francoise onto the hammock; collect Francoise.
  • Move to the Island.

 

Raft

  • Use the Liana to fix the raft.
  • Place the bamboo sticks down.
  • Examine the raft to trigger a mini-game.
  • To solve the game use the following combination of directions.
  • Left – up – right – up 4x’s – right 3x’s – up 2x’s – left 2x’s
