How to Trigger Folding — Movement Spoilers

Movement spoilers ahead. That ledge in Echo Weaver can look like it’s waiting for an ability you missed. Small hint: look at where your Glaive—the blade you carry—can reach, rather than judging the gap by your jump alone.

Full solution: Folding transports the Weaver to the Glaive. Leave the blade where you want to go, then use Dive to enter Burning Enth, the glowing formations that trigger the trip. Into Indie Games’ illustrated full-game walkthrough, Echo Weaver Walkthrough – Escape The Assembly, shows this sequence.

  1. Set the destination with Hurl Glaive. Aim at the spot you want to reach and use Hurl Glaive. Check that the blade stays there instead of flying back to you. Its resting position marks your destination.
  2. Dive into Burning Enth. With the Glaive still at your chosen spot, move to a glowing Burning Enth formation and use Dive into it. Folding brings the Weaver to the blade’s location. Check your arrival position against the spot where you left it.

If the blade comes straight back, reset the setup: use Hurl Glaive rather than the returning throw, then confirm it stays put before you Dive. Match those action names to your own bindings. Once the sequence clicks, a familiar room becomes a new route: place the destination first, then travel to it.
