Patch #1 Tools, Special Rooms, and Routes Through Foggy Mountains

Your shelves were readable five minutes ago. Now finished parcels are hiding among unfinished boxes, a strange handling mark has appeared, and the boat has delivered another cardboard landslide. Do not guess. Put any parcel you cannot finish on a hold shelf, complete the current reward step, then bring that parcel back through the correct inspection and storage check.

Covered build: Windows retail Patch #1, public build 24152930, on a fresh retail save through the Foggy Mountains reward. This path does not use imported demo progress. Patch #1 reduced the parcel piles inside the cold and heated rooms, but the sequence below should still be treated as patch-specific.

Progress counter: The yellow bar at the bottom of the Shift Summary is the visible unlock counter. Earn score from correct work until the bar reaches the paw marker, choose Next Shift, and read the reward cards. The screen does not print a numeric point requirement, so the paw marker is the exact checkpoint you can follow.

Main Reward Track

OrderUnlockExact prerequisite and next actionNew function
StartScale and Port WindyComplete the opening tutorial on a fresh retail save. Weigh outgoing parcels before adding postage, then stage Port Windy mail for the captain. The scale shows the postage weight. Port Windy is the first outbound destination.
1Parcel scannerComplete the opening shift and fill the first yellow bar to its paw marker. Advance to the next shift and place outgoing parcels on the scanner conveyor one at a time. The scanner identifies fragile and heavy parcels. Add the matching handling stamp before storage or loading.
2Refrigerated room and Sunny ShoresWith the scanner unlocked, fill the next reward bar. Collect the cold-room key, open the refrigerated room, and add a Sunny Shores staging area. The room protects cold parcels from bad storage conditions. Sunny Shores becomes a possible destination and captain route.
3Crescent BayFill the next reward bar after the refrigerated-room and Sunny Shores tier, then advance through the destination reward.Crescent Bay becomes available for destination stamps and captain trips.
4Heated roomFill the next room-reward bar after Crescent Bay. Collect the heated-room key and open its door in the storage area. The room protects hot parcels from bad storage conditions.
5Revealuna and HazeltonFill the next major reward bar after the heated-room tier. Use Revealuna only after night begins, and create a separate Hazelton route zone.Revealuna traces paired or Lovers parcels at night. Hazelton becomes another destination and captain route.
6Tropical DunesFill the next destination-reward bar after Hazelton and advance to the next shift.Tropical Dunes becomes available for destination stamps and captain trips.
7Foggy MountainsFill the following destination-reward bar and advance through the Foggy Mountains reward.Foggy Mountains becomes available for destination stamps and captain trips.

Backlog-Gated Rooms and Optional Convenience

Backlog-gated handling roomLight roomOpen the heated room, then remove the parcel pile at its far end. Enter the revealed room, collect the key inside, and unlock the direct hall door.Light parcels gain protected storage. Keep matching parcels inside until they are ready to leave.
Optional convenienceRepair workshopKeep removing parcels from the original main-hall backlog until the workshop entrance is clear, then enter it to start its tutorial. The workshop repairs damaged parcels. It has capacity for three repairs per day, so save its slots for parcels that are actually damaged.

The dark room, light room, and repair workshop come from clearing physical backlog piles. They are not interchangeable with the main reward-bar steps. Opening them adds important handling options, but clearing one of these piles does not replace the next paw-marker reward.

Night Inspection Spoiler: Revealuna

When the scanner marks a parcel as paired, place it under Revealuna after dark and activate the device. Follow the slow golden trail to its matching parcel, scan the match, and mark the pair before returning both boxes to their proper storage. The matching parcel may still be buried in a backlog pile, so a trail that appears to lead nowhere does not always mean you chose the wrong box.

What to Recheck After Each Unlock

  1. Scanner: Recheck every unfinished outgoing parcel on the hold shelf for fragile or heavy handling.
  2. Refrigerated or heated room: Recheck unresolved parcels, add the matching cold or hot handling mark when required, and move them fully inside the correct room.
  3. Dark or light room: Revisit held parcels that still have an unexplained handling need. Move matches into the new room instead of balancing them in ordinary storage.
  4. Revealuna: Hold paired parcels for night inspection. Do not guess at the matching box during the day.
  5. New destination: Re-read held parcel destinations, add the newly available destination stamp, and give the route its own staging area.
  6. Captain check: A prepared parcel is not automatically loadable. Put it on the boat only when the captain names its destination for that trip.

If unexplained damage starts nibbling through the shelves, stop the shuffle. Clear the scanner, recheck one held parcel, apply its handling mark, and place it fully inside the matching room. Cardboard chaos is recoverable when each shelf has one job.

Demo-save warning: Imported demo saves can clear the cold or heated backlog without producing the dark- or light-room key. Patch #1 specifically repaired a break-room-key loading problem; it did not list a fix for missing dark or light keys. If either pile is completely gone and its key is absent, do not keep grinding the reward bar or stamp affected parcels from memory. Isolate them and use a fresh retail save if you need a clean progression path.

Scope stop: This table ends at Foggy Mountains. Home Delivery and later story-room rewards are not assigned an exact unlock step here.
