Patch #1 Tools, Special Rooms, and Routes Through Foggy Mountains

As new tools, rooms, and routes unlock, parcels that once seemed complete may need another inspection. If you find an unfamiliar mark, do not guess. Set the parcel aside, finish the current progression step, and check it again after the game introduces the matching tool or room.

Covered progression: This section follows the verified launch and Patch #1 reward order, from the opening tutorial through Foggy Mountains, Home Delivery, and the Break Room. Patch #1 reduced the parcel piles in the refrigerated and heated rooms. Patch #2 and Patch #3 later made the final pile stages clear faster.

How rewards work: The yellow bar at the bottom of the Shift Summary tracks progress toward your next reward. When it reaches the paw marker, choose Next Shift and read every reward card before continuing.

1Parcel scannerComplete the opening reward bar and advance to the next shift. Scan outgoing parcels before placing them in final storage. The scanner reveals hidden parcel traits, including heavy and fragile.
2Refrigerated room and Sunny ShoresEarn the next progression reward, collect the room key, and open the refrigerated room.Cold parcels require refrigerated storage, and Sunny Shores joins the boat routes.
3Crescent BayKeep earning score until its destination card appears.Crescent Bay becomes available for outgoing parcels.
4Heated roomEarn the next room-key reward and open the heated room.Hot parcels require heated storage.
5Revealuna and HazeltonContinue along the reward track and inspect the new device on the desk.Revealuna handles special nighttime parcels, while Hazelton joins the boat routes.
6Tropical DunesEarn its destination reward and advance to the next shift.Tropical Dunes becomes available for outgoing parcels.
7Foggy MountainsFill the next progression bar and read the destination card.Foggy Mountains becomes available for outgoing parcels.

Some reward sequences also include new stamp cards. These do not replace the tool, room, or route shown in the same progression sequence.

The dark room, light room, and repair workshop become accessible by clearing physical parcel piles. They do not replace your next paw-marker reward. The Break Room requires both forms of progress: you need its reward key and a clear path to the door behind the main pile.

Home Delivery, the Second Lens, Lamp, Mirror, and Sloth

These late-game terms can be confusing because they do not belong to a single unlock system. Home Delivery is a reward-track feature for Cat Island parcels. Revealuna is the desk lamp used for Lovers and cursed parcels. The sloth appears in a customer clue; it is not a route or story character.

  • Home Delivery: Once its reward appears, place eligible Cat Island parcels in the marked Home Deliveries area. This reduces local parcel storage, but it does not trigger the ending or clear the main story pile.
  • Lamp and first lens: Revealuna's first mode connects a heart-marked Lovers parcel to its partner. Mark the matching parcel and ship the pair together.
  • Second lens: Mode 2 cleanses parcels bearing a glowing purple cursed symbol. Place the affected parcel under Revealuna, select mode 2, and activate it during a working nighttime window. The symbol disappears after a successful cleansing.
  • Mirror: The verified reward sequence does not include a separate room or reward called Mirror. If you encountered that term in a player discussion, it may refer to Revealuna's round lens. Follow the in-game name Revealuna.
  • Sloth: When dialogue says a parcel was dragged by a sloth, look for scratch marks on stored parcels. The clue does not point to the route board.

If Revealuna will not activate, check that you selected the correct numbered mode. Try again at night or during the dawn or morning period while the Captain is waiting. Keep unresolved Lovers and cursed parcels separate until the required mode becomes available.

Break Room: Location, Unlock Requirements, and Purpose

The Break Room is behind the main backlog pile. Its door can remain mostly hidden until late in the cleanup. You may receive the reward key before you have enough space to reach the doorway.

Opening the Break Room requires two separate steps. The late reward track provides the key, while clearing the main pile exposes the door. Home Delivery unlocks earlier, but using it does not remove parcels from the story pile.

  1. Unlock Home Delivery: Keep filling reward bars after Foggy Mountains until the Home Delivery reward card appears.
  2. Earn the Break Room key: Continue to the next late progression reward and collect the card labeled Unlocked the Break Room!
  3. Expose the door: Keep serving customers and remove every available parcel from the main pile as new sections become active.
  4. Enter the room: Use the key once you can reach the doorway.

Tip: If the pile appears stuck, move the cursor around its edges and visible gaps. Players have reported that the pile's geometry can hide one final removable parcel.

What the Break Room does: This is a story room, not a storage or repair station. Reaching the old postman and completing his story awards the hidden A well deserved retirement achievement.

Patch and imported-demo save notes: Patch #1 fixed an issue that prevented the Break Room key from respawning when a loaded save should already have it. Patch #3 later fixed old demo saves missing the bright-room and dark-room keys. Update the game before abandoning an affected save or starting over.

Night Inspection Spoiler: Using Revealuna

For a heart-marked Lovers parcel, place it under Revealuna and select mode 1. Follow the light to its matching parcel, add the Lovers mark to that partner, and keep both parcels together for shipment. Sending only one member of the pair causes a failed shipment and return.

For a parcel with a glowing purple curse, select mode 2 instead. You cannot complete a cursed parcel normally until the purple symbol is removed. Once cleansed, the parcel does not need a separate curse stamp.

What to Recheck After Each Unlock

  1. Scanner: Scan unfinished outgoing parcels for hidden handling traits.
  2. Refrigerated or heated room: Move parcels with a cold or hot constraint fully inside the matching room.
  3. Dark or light room: Revisit held parcels that require darkness or bright conditions.
  4. Revealuna mode 1: Find the partner of a heart-marked parcel and prepare the pair for the same shipment.
  5. Revealuna mode 2: Cleanse parcels displaying a glowing purple cursed symbol.
  6. New destination: Re-read held destination labels, add the newly available stamp, and create a clear staging area for the route.
  7. Home Delivery: Use the marked area for Cat Island parcels. Do not confuse this service with clearing the story pile.
  8. Captain check: Load only parcels for the destination the Captain names for that trip.

If parcels keep taking damage, pause the backlog cleanup and inspect one problem parcel at a time. Confirm its scanner result, apply the required handling mark, and place it in the correct room before advancing the shift.
