Demo vs. Retail: Which Fix Applies?
The transmitter won't place, the delivery goal won't tick off, and your city on a space whale has become a waiting room. In Beyond These Stars, match the symptom and version before trying a fix. An old demo workaround and a retail objective recovery solve different problems.

Developer chiefmonkey stated on October 13, 2026 that the demo could sometimes generate the transmitter ruin beneath forest, and that this generation issue was corrected for full release. Keep pelorios's tree-clearing case in that historical demo context; it is not a universal retail fix.
Hotfix #6 was published on October 23, 2026, in UTC. Localized Steam displays can show October 22 for the same update. Match the hotfix number and objective wording rather than dismissing it over that date difference.
