Twisted Lands: Origin: Chapter 5: The Mansion

Park

  • Take the PICKAXE from the park bench.
  • Go forward to the bridge entry, and right towards the elevator.
     

Elevator

  • Zoom into the top of the ladder.
  • PICKAXE the rocks.
  • Enter the elevator and watch the horrific scene play out.
     

Elevator Interior

  • Open the bag at right and take the CAN OPENER.
  • Take the RAG at left and put it on the bag to get the OILY RAG.
  • Open the fuse box at top right with the CAN OPENER.
  • Zoom into the fuse box for a puzzle.
     

Fusebox

  • The object of the puzzle is to swap the circuit parts in pairs so the ends of each are connected to the matching colored ends of neighboring circuits.

  • Zoom into the hatch once complete.
  • Use the OILY RAG on the latches.
  • Click the hatch door and exit.
     

Tower

  • Climb the tower.
  • Enter the catacombs.
  • Take the LUMINESCENT MUSHROOMS.
  • Go through the left door to reach the shelter.
     

Fuse Puzzle

  • Zoom into the device in the center to initiate a puzzle.
  • The object of the puzzle is to arrange the fuses in the proper order so the shapes on the fuses match the shapes on the board.
  • You can move only two fuse pairs at a time – this is a very teasing puzzle to solve. 
  • Place your cursor between two fuses and click to pick them up – noting that it’s sometimes best to work the end to the right in odd numbers, at other times in even numbers.
  • Note that once you start out on your own the solution below becomes irrelevant unless you can find your way back to the default position. Assuming that the slots from left to right are numbered one to 10, solve the puzzle in this way: Pairs 3-4 to 8-9, 7-8 to 3-4, 9-10 to 7-8, 6-7 to 9-10, 4-5 to 6-7, 7-8 to 4-5, and 9-10 to 7-8.
     

Lab

  • Zoom into the desk.
  • Take the SACK OF SEEDS.
  • Read the note.
  • Place the SACK OF SEEDS and the LUMINESCENT MUSHROOMS in the mortar.
  • Mix the items in the mortar.
  • Take the SNAKE POWDER.
  • Click down.
     

Snake

  • Go forward in the tunnel towards the snake.
  • Use the SNAKE POWDER to subdue the snake.
  • Take the CHAIN.
  • Go through the right door, take the AMULET hanging from the ceiling, and return to the tunnel.
     

Snake Statue

  • Go down to the end of the tunnel and place the AMULET on the snake.
  • Take the CLOWN’S HEAD when the statue opens.
     

Mansion

  • Exit the tunnel complex and go up the steps to the mansion entrance.
  • Place the CHAIN on the window.
  • Climb up and into the nursery.
  • Play the HOA in the background.
     

Nursery Hidden Object Game

  • Find the items listed.
  • Receive the STARFISH.
     

Nursery

  • Pull the tassel at the upper left.
  • Place the CLOWN’S HEAD on the clown body.
  • Take the BOOK.
  • Zoom into the case on the floor to the right.
  • Take the GREENHOUSE and add it to the board when directed there. 
  • Return back outside.
     

Fountain

  • Zoom into the fountain.
  • Place the STARFISH in the appropriate spot.
  • Take the SKULL and watch the fountain spring back to life.
     

Nursery

  • Return to the nursery.
  • Zoom into the chest.
  • Place the SKULL in the appropriate spot.
  • Take the LION.
  • Read the note, clue and open the book.
  • Go through the right door to the stairs.
     

Stairway

  • Place the LION on the stand to raise the chandelier.
  • Exit through the doorway at the bottom of the stairway to enter the kitchen.
     

Kitchen

  • Click the red button to lower the tray – umm, what or whom does that rib cage belong to, and would you want to accept an invitation to dine at this place?
  • Zoom into the tray.
  • Take the SHED, placing it on the board when directed there, then exit back to the tray.
  • Take the TRAIN and OVEN MITT.
     

Nursery

  • Return to the nursery and zoom into the case on the floor.
  • Place the TRAIN in it and take the BATTERY.
     

Nursery

  • Initiate the HOA in the centre of the room.
  • Find the items listed.
  • Receive the FISHING LINE.
     

Kitchen

  • Return to the kitchen.
  • Press on the button again to raise the tray.
  • Zoom into the mechanism in the far corner.
  • Insert the BATTERY in the slot – every kitchen should have one of these, right? 
  • Zoom into the sink.
  • Take the SOLIDIFIED HONEY.
  • Zoom into the stove.
  • Place the SOLIDIFIED HONEY on the stove and click the valve.
  • Retrieve the HOT HONEY with the OVEN MITT.
  • Zoom into the sink.
  • Place the HOT HONEY in it.
  • Click the faucet handle.
  • Take the KEY.
  • Zoom into the door.
  • Insert the KEY in the lock.
     

Porch Hidden Object Game

  • Go outside to the porch and initiate the HOA by the pond.
  • Find the items listed.
  • Open the crate to get the FORK AND SPOON.
     

Porch

  • Place the FORK AND SPOON in the spot on the basket.
  • Take the MATCHES.
  • Take the second BOOK.
     

Hangar

  • Move toward the hangar at right.
  • Take the LEAVES and the PIECE OF BREAD underneath.
  • Take the ROPE.
  • Click down.
     

Pond

  • Zoom into the fishing rod.
  • Place the FISHING LINE on it and take the FISHING ROD.
  • Place the PIECE OF BREAD in the water.
  • Catch the FISH with the FISHING ROD.
  • Return to the outside of the hangar.
     

Hanger

  • Feed the bird the FISH.
  • Zoom into the barrel.
  • Take the GRAPES.
  • Open the smoker.
  • Toss in the LEAVES and MATCHES to get the SMOKER.
  • Click down.
     

Greenhouse

  • Return to the porch and zoom in on the greenhouse entrance to the left of the pond.
  • Use the SMOKER to get rid of the wasps.
  • Enter the greenhouse.
