- Speak to Abbot.
- Collect the wooden wedge.
- Move down once and into the Back Alley.
- Select and blow the whistle to startle the bird; collect the locket and goose feather.
- Read the letter; select the glass shard to slice the rope.
- Click the cover and click the hammerhead to trigger a mini game.
- Solve the game by restoring the image and click it once.

- Find the items.
- Select the hammer from the inventory and use it to remove the nail; collect the star.
- Collect the needle and thread.
- Collect the old blanket and the chamomile seeds.
- Select the old blanket and use the needle and thread to mend it; collect the warm blanket.
- Click the items in the basket aside; collect the rose.
- Click the cabinet to trigger a mini game.
- Solve the game by guiding the golden button along the path, crossing each button once eventually moving to the red button.
- Click the switch.
- Collect the tailor’s stamp.
- Move to the Monastery Gate.
- Give the Abbot the warm blanket.
- Collect the remedy.
- Move down to the left and into the Yellow Eagle Inn.
- Collect the verbena seeds.
- Collect the mortar and pestle.
- Place the ink stick into the mortar and pestle; collect the ink powder.
- Click the wagon.
- Zoom into the herb table on the right.
- Insert the chamomile, thyme and verbena seeds into the pots.
- Select the watering can to pour onto the 3 pots.
- Click each of the herbs.
- Leave the close up of the herb table and click the potion table on the left.
- Select the verbena from the herbarium and place it onto the plate.
- Then repeat the process for both the thyme and chamomile.
- Click the flask onto the plate.
- Click the pitcher.
- Click the 3 ingredients and click the spoon.
- Click the flask; collect the medicine.
- Exit the wagon.
- Give the Jacob the medicine.
- Select the ink powder and pour it into the glass and dip the goose feather into it.
- Place the paper down and select the goose feather to use on it and trigger a mini game.
- Solve the game by using the feather to recreate the lines.
- Click the candle.
- Select the tailor’s stamp to create the seal.
- Collect the forged letter.
- Move down 2x’s.
- Select the forged letter to slip beneath the door.
- Move to the Back Alley.
- Place the ladder against the wall.
- Collect the winter savory.
- Click the window and move into the Study.
