Chapter Two: Nightingale

This section is from entering Nightingale to opening the gate to the Cathedral.

• Head to the Hotel Entrance to the left
• Examine the tow cable
• Click on the lever and the cable will drop
• Drag the hook to the hotel door
• Examine the man
• Pick up the PUZZLE PIECES

• Head forward to the End of Main Street
• Examine the bulletin board
• Pick up the MAGNET

• Enter the Bus
• Do the hidden object scene on the seats to the left
• Cork:  Use the corkscrew on the wine bottle
• Number 2:  Clik on the tie
• Receive a LIGHTER

• Go to the School Entrance
• Examine the mailbox
• Place the PUZZLE PIECES
• Swap the tiles around to complete the picture
• Tiles will lock when in the correct place
• Pick up the KEY
• Examine the door
• Use the LIGHTER and the KEY to open the door

• Enter the School
• Examine the wall box on the right
• Click on the handle
• Click the two switches down to turn on the lights and turn off the alarm
• Exit the School
• Examine the alarm
• Use the SCREWDRIVER
• Pick up the DART
• Re-enter the school

• Click on the chair
• Note you need a puzzle piece
• Examine the window
• Pick up the SCRUB BRUSH and RULER
• Examine the door
• Use the RULER

• Enter the Classroom
• Examine the floor
• Use the MAGNET to pick up the FLYING SAUCER
• Examine the black board to get the pattern for the puzzle
• Exit the room
• Examine the locker
• Use the FLYING SAUCER

• Slide around the puzzle pieces so that the flying vehicles are in the correct place
• Examine the open locker
• Pick up the CROWBAR
• Enter the classroom
• Examine the window
• Use the CROWBAR

• Do the Hidden Object Scene
• Receive the STETHOSCOPE

• Return to the Barn
• Examine the safe
• Use the STETHOSCOPE
• Turn each knob from left to right until the rod comes down
• Pick up the DETONATOR
• Examine the box on the right
• Use the CROWBAR
• Pick up the DYNAMITE
• Examine the winch and place the GEAR; you now need a hook

• Go to Past the Barn
• Examine the rock
• Use the SCRUB BRUSH to get a code

• Go to Outside the Cave
• Examine the rock blocking the cave
• Place the DYNAMITE
• Go up the rope to the Cliff
• Place the DETONATOR and press

• Go into the Cave
• Pick up the HOOK
• Back up
• Use the STONE on the ROPE
• Use the ROPE and STONE on the top of the Cliff and go up
• Return to Past the Barn and talk to the Farmer

• Return to the Barn
• Place the GEAR in the winch if you have not already done so
• Place the HOOK on the end of the chain
• Click on the winch handle
• Examine the opening in the floor
• Pick up the JACK

• Return to Main Street
• Examine the truck
• Place the JACK and click
• Use the CROWBAR
• Pick up the SHOTGUN SHELLS

• Return to the Corn Field
• Do the Hidden Object Scene in the shed
• Grated carrot:  Use the carrot on the grater
• Lizard:  Click on the green rag
• Receive the PLANET

• Examine the Shotgun
• Place the SHOTGUN SHELLS
• Pick up the SHOTGUN
• Return to the Railway Platform
• Shoot the overhead clock
• Pick up the MEDALLION

• Go to the Cave
• Examine the floor
• Place the PLANET
• Swap the moons around so they match up in phase
• The portal will rise; examine it
• Pick up the moon MEDALLION

• Return to Main Street
• Examine under the truck
• Place the moon and sun MEDALLIONS
• Pick up the RUNE

• Do the Hidden Object Scene in the street
• Arrow:  Use tape on the broken arrow
• Star:  Use chalk on the partial star
• Funnel:  Click on tile to expose
• Receive the CROSS

• Go forward
• Examine the Gate
• Place the CROSS and click
• Place all the pieces to solve the puzzle
