You find yourself in Ean's House to start.
You can play the tutorial to get a feel for gameplay.
Ean can sleep in his bed to heal him for free.
Talk to your mom and dad to discover the Iya will be at the Elder Oak.
Leave the house.
Quest 1: Meet Iya at the Elder Oak
You are in the elfwood.
Talk to the little boy named Row for the side quest: Get Row's Teddy Bear from Nisa.
Talk to Nisa to get the teddy bear.
Give the teddy bear back to Row.
You will receive 7 Gold Coins.
Click on the chest in the upper right to open it.
You will receive 25 Gold Coins.
Talk to everyone in the village.
Go up the ladder and head to the right until you see the goddess statue.
Click on it and you will have the option to donate or steal from the donation box.
Donating will increase your karma points.
Donate to the box.
Once you are done exploring the town, head up the northern path on the left to leave the town.
Once you leave the village, you will be on the world map.
Go north to the forest cave and you will find yourself in Oldwoods.
There are three chests in this area.
Head to the left first and find the two chests.
The one all the way to the west will have the Oak Shield.
The one to the north will have the Hunting Knife.
The chest to the east will have the bread and 15 Gold Coins.
Remember to equip the Oak Shield and the Knife.
Head to the Elder Oak to find Iya.
Click on Iya to talk to her.
Once you are done, Iya will join the party.
Head back to Ean's home in Elfwood.
Click on his mother to talk to her.
You will discover that she needs honeycomb to make her biscuits.
Leave the house and go to the general store.
Enter the store.
Buy leather boots for Ean.
Buy a Hunting Knife for Iya.
Don't forget to equip your items.
Leave the Elfwood and return to the Oldwoods.
Quest 2: Get Honeycomb for Mom
Head to the west and exit the Oldwoods to the South.
You will be at the vale again.
Go to the Hive.
This is your first dungeon so it's a good idea to save your game before you begin any battles.
Fight all the bees in the area.
This will help you gain experience points.
Fight the queen bee.
Once you defeat the queen bee, collect the honeycomb and then exit the hive.
This is a good place to gain some easy experience and gold.
If you want, exit and then reenter the hive to keep fighting the bees.
When you are done, return to the Elfwood and Ean's mother.
Click on Ean's mother and talk to her.
You will give her the honeycomb.
Iya will leave the party and your mother will tell you it's time for bed.
Click on Ean's bed to make him sleep.
Watch the cut scene.
Once Ean wakes up, click on his mother to talk to her.
She will give you a biscuit and you will discover that it's snowing.
Leave the house.
Talk to people in the village. No one seems to remember Iya.
Go to Iya's house and click on the door to enter.
Click on Iya's mom to talk to her.
Go to Iya's room and check under her floorboards.
You will find a Ribbon he gave her last year.
Leave the house and head south to the elders.
Click on the elders to talk to them.
They will tell you to go to the Elder Oak for an answer.
Go to the General Store first and buy some bread before you leave.
Exit Elfwood and head to Oldwood.
Follow the path and go to the Elder Oak.
Click on it to talk to it.
It will open a portal for you to the land of man.
Save your game and then enter the portal.
You are now in The Crossing.
Click on the chest on the right to open it.
You will receive the Canoe.
Head south to exit.
Ean will place the canoe in the river.
Get in the canoe and travel north until you see a snowy cave.
Get off the canoe and go into the cave.
Once you enter the cave, you will be in the Spire Mountains.
