Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon Walkthrough
So... nearly everyone is freaking out over graduation. Chill people. It's still like three months away... wait, three months away? Crap! That means only three months left in my apartment with Anne and those guys. Only three months left to hang out with Morgan. Only three months before I'm back in Pennsylvania! What?! Crap! Crap! Crap! Lucy, breathe. Everything will be alright. Especially after a certain "someone" finds his pink undies. I think instead of a "Bash Valentine's Day party," next year, I'll start a "Prank People in Love Day" on Valentine's Day. It's so much more rewarding. Now, down to business. I just played a game called Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon. So, what's it about, Lucy? Calm down, I'm getting there. You are called to a town cursed by a werewolf, supposedly. It's your job to get to the bottom of all the crazy murders. Is it really a werewolf? Well, play the game and find out already! Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon is the first in an ongoing series. The second game in the series has already been released. But, let's not get ahead of ourselves. The graphics are very good, but not the best I've seen. The story is dark and foreboding, as are the scenes. I sometimes found it difficult to locate an object or a hole in the ground because the scenes were too dark. Thankfully, there are sparkles. There are a grand total of 29 hidden object areas in this game. Why is it always an uneven number? The hidden object areas are not easy, and sometimes they hide items behind other items or inside other items and don't tell you. Usually, those items are highlighted in yellow, but I found a few cases where they were not. The puzzles were very difficult. As much as I hate to admit it, I had to skip some of the random solution ones. They just got on my last nerve. However, the others have either screenshot or video solutions for you. This is your basic adventure/hidden object game. Wander around and try and find items, hidden object areas, etc. The game isn't always very logical in what to do next. In fact, I often found it rather illogical, but there is a journal that — if you bother to read it — you'll find hints of what to do next highlighted in bright, bold, red letters. I will not admit that I didn't notice that until I was nearly finished… face palm. It's also a rather long game and the murderer is pretty easy to figure out right from the very beginning. What fun is that? I need twists and turns! I need mystery and intrigue! I need... well, I needed a little more than Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon gave me, but it was still a decent play.
