In Esoterica Hollow Earth,
General Tips for Esoterica Hollow Earth
Difficulty - Two modes: Regular and Expert. In Regular Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and items of interest sparkle. In Expert Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge slowly and there are no sparkles for the areas of interest.
Goals - Your goals are found in the bottom left of your screen. Click here to get a reminder of what your current objectives are.
Hidden Object Scenes - Hidden object scenes will sparkle. Find the items on the list to receive an item for your inventory that will help you in your investigation.
Hints - The hint button is found in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.
Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in to take a closer look.
Gold Punch Cards - There are 29 cards in all to find. Each card has information for you read that gives more detail about the story and the characters in the game.
Inventory - Your inventory can be found at the bottom of your screen. Items you collect throughout the game are found here.
Gears - When your cursor turns into gears, it means you can use an object from your inventory in this area.
Navigation Arrow - When your cursor turns into an arrow, it means you can move in that direction.
Journal - Your Journal is found in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. It will store game notes, tasks, and observations you make on your adventure.
Menu - The menu button is located at the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
Map - Your map can be accessed by clicking on the map button in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Click on an area to fast travel to that location.
