Fruity Pops Review

Fruity Pops is a fast-paced match-3 game filled with colorful fruit and quick-thinking strategy.

Fruity Pops is basically a copycat Farm Heroes Saga game that has you matching up colorful fruit for points.

Each level will provide you with a challenge. For example, you'll need to collect 10 grapes and 12 lemons. This means that although you may match up other fruit, it won't count toward your completion of the level.

Oh, and did I mention that each level in Fruity Pops is timed? I'm not sure how I feel about that. I think Match-3 games overall should be a pretty laid back experience and adding that timed feature seems a bit strange to me.

When I've played other match-3 games, there were only certain levels that were timed, not every level. So there wasn't this constant rush to find the right fruit and make the right matches.

I think I prefer that more calming approach. It gives you time to plan out your moves and use a little strategy, rather than just rush around making as many matches as you can while you play.

Fruity Pops was also a little slow. It wouldn't let you make a match right away after you made a previous match. So you would have to wait a second or two before you could move forward with quickly matching up fruit... a pretty big time waster if you ask me.

Overall, Fruity Pops was a decent little match-3 game with some flaws in the game mechanics.
