Stuck and cannot seem to progress

Can anyone tell me how to get to the island on the left hand side of the screen, It has blue crystals on it. Also cannot build the stone towers as I cannot get the masonry. Any ideas?

You can't do any of that until you get to the next Kingdom. Don't worry about it for now and keep playing. You will have the opportunity to return to this Kingdom after you get the Masonry upgrade.
