Twice in a blue moon

I have reached Investigation No 4 and cannot find all the objects at Lemond Boyd's Victorian. I have restarted the game 3 times and get stuck on this investigation each time. In each restart there are objects that are not there and no hints are given even when hints are still available. If there is a solution, please help.
