protection potion in part 3

i need help. in part 3, john needs 5 protection potions. but i haven't got any i in my inventory and i can't buy any more, it is disabled... can someone tell me where to get some? i can't plant them, i used all the seeds already. there's gotta be a way, right?

Been awhile since I played but you can buy seeds from Nomato and plant them until you get what you need. The rest of the stuff should be available laying around. Look at the map for the locations of stuff on the walkthrough. Sorry this isn't more helpful. Let me know if you need more help.

Just buy seeds and plant stuffs and then u can go to the bonfire and make the potions.

Where can I find the cabbage looking thing for the protective potions?
