mystery case files, Ravenhearst

I finished doing the library puzzel but cant open the door my sequence is hand, cards, star,4 leaf clover, hand, triangle and trident. Is the card sequence 6 or 8? my other #'s are 5, ?, 6,4,5,3 and 3.
I know this is not a new game but i just started it after doing Ravenhearst revisited. ANy help is appreciated
