humming bird

I have completed every puzzle but the last one and have yet to see a humming bird. Does anyone else have this problem? I really don't want to start another game! Maybe I missed something...;((

u first have to heal the tree till in the tech menu it says the tree of life is nearly healed to heal the tree complete the previous puzzles
1. Cut the sick branch
2. Close the Hole
3. Apply the yellow paste
4. And allow the water flow around the tree

But what if you miss it and it doesnt come back?
