Basement Level -5 jungle Bungle

there are little creatures flying around. their purpose is to slow granny and push her down ladders.

How do I get rid of them? I can't shoot them with any of the tools available to granny. They appear to be unstoppable (they push granny into the path of other flying creatures which do kill her)
