I haven't done it, and unless there's something I'm missing, some way to make vast amounts of score, getting Expert score of 8000 won't be possible for me. I have made 6020 score with just 4 of the outer greys left at the end and posted an annotated video of it on you-tube. Search for Zenerchi level 10-1 6020 score. With the colours dropping in from outside, any burst except column burst will be too far in to affect the outer greys and there's no way I know of to move it out. It's a tall order to get 8 column bursts with them being so rare. I've seen two people claim to have got all the blockers on 10-1 but no video proof, and I'm not sure I'll believe it until I see it. I'd be amazed if anyone could get Expert score without cheating. I've completed all other levels of Journey mode in Expert score and posted videos of the ones I found hard.
