Problem: I revealed the gong piece in the Mosaic, sent a villager to pick it up. He picked it up, but never put it in the gong case! He was elderly, is it possible that he dropped it??? I tried getting the gong piece back with the totem again, but it's not there! HELP!!!!!

Hey, did you ever figure this out because I have a similar problem. My 3 master builders opened the crate on the beach and one of them picked up the gong piece but, on his way to put it on the thingy, a female stopped him to "mate" and he dropped the piece. Now I can't find it anywhere.
