How did you get enough gems to get to the guardian moon? Were you able to get scouts on the lonely iceberg?

doesn't anyone ever reply to this question? I've played it twice and can not figure out how anyone can ever win.

Have you consulted the walkthrough for the part where you are stuck? I have played this game all the way through and won. It is possible, but not easy.

Is there any chance that you are playing the extended edition? If so, that walkthrough has all the gems circled.

I haven't played the this Totem Tribe but I know with the extended edition, I had to go swimming around on most of the levels to find enough gems on outlying islands.
