How do you melt the ice block on the witch island please?

You need to go back to Witch Island once you've got the wiseman's house,then you can upgrade your tower to a fire tower and that will melt the ice block. Another way is to go back once you've got the shaman's hut and build one on Witch Island and the shaman will shoot fire at the ice block to melt it.
