Luckily, I'm here to answer your question. (usually, you just start a new thread in the question and answer section on this here forum for this here game. =)

You need to purchase (unlock) the flowerpots from your store section.... I think it's under "luxury items". You'll need experience points to do that so the flowerpots will remain unavailable until you have the required experience to purchase them.

He isn't supposed to die. Once you catch him, he's supposed to invite you on an new quest. Check your word balloons with the "!" You should have a request.

I myself have a few questions 1:I have built 10 flower pots and built 3 beehives but no secret bear isn't coming what am I doing wrong? 2: I have collected 8,000 gold but I havn't gotten the award: capital gains I dont need help with food though 3: this one you might think I'm stupid but what are people talking about the cow skulls? 4: there are bandits on the map when I hire gunslingers, deputies and a sheriff I defeat the bandits but every 40 seconds a bandit respawns how do I stop this? 5:One of the awards is to complete all 3 settalments but for some reason I have 6 what's with that?

Um lara if you do open range you dont have to buy every thing it's allready bought

Um.. Tracy you are in the right spot to ask questions

Tip 1:And what you have to do is maybe you can click on your farm/ranch and change your Grain/Animal to something else Example: If you have a ranch swich to cattle and if you have a farm swich to pumkins those two Grain/Animals produce the highest food amount
Tip 2: make a population of 6 people and build 3 farms,3ranches and change the three farms to Wheat,corn and pumpkin
and the three ranches Put chicken,pig and cattle TIP:also increases town happiness by 25 but be sure to employ your 6 citizens and if you need wood or gold do your settlements

RE:Hi, me and lara might know all the question all of you have Asancinbe,for question 1, I am not able to help you with you have to have the secret bear when you build 10 flower pots or maybe check if your missing something.question 2: your awards might need to have key requirements to them maybe you have to complete all 3/6 settlements 3:And asancinbe you are not stupid fish all fish in the ponds and the race for cow skulls is on. Question 4: to get out the bandits you have to stop the source of it this requires question 1 Unlock the Bear and you infaltrate the bandit base and lots of gunslingers a sheriff and a few deputies TIP: build extra sheriff office to hire more deputies. Question 5: there must have been a screw up but the good thing about it is that you might get extra wood,foood(food) and gold.

Ahhh! yes first save your game then shut the program down and turn it back on and hit continue in main menu.

The way to increase your town happiness is to have 6 people and 840 gold,and 930 wood or just build 3 farms 3 ranches 6 people will make your town unhappy by 5, but employ the 6 citizens on the farms and ranches make sure 1 farm has wheat the other has corn and the last one has pumpkin the ranches will be chicken,pig and cattle that will increase your town happiness by 25 but if your starting open range and the map is new your town happiness starts with 80 low population -5 = 75 but + 25 food verieties = 100 happiness increase your town happiness by 1 or more by building a luxury building on your town happiness scale will change from yellow to green If you keep building luxuries and hiring nice sheriff and nice gunslingers you can be like me with 202 town happiness everyone.

, I forgot If you build two Saloons, and you build another one the 3rd one will make your town happiness drop by -4 :( so if you build a luxury building that make your town unhappy bomb it because it's just a waste of wood and gold.

I dont need food because I focused and lisened to CODEX (sorry if i'm not typing your name right) and dual blade make 6 Food buildings and make them all different and 25 town happiness so I need some help guys

Exactly :) but you don't have to keep the people working there then put your hero and all the gunmen you have and you will cause extra damage + also, the more gunmen you hire the more damage and on your gold mines If it says High happiness It will do more gold and pitchaxe Upgrade will make it even better.

you guys I found a way to get more then 10 water in a water tower/food bin first, quit someones job then, click build and stay there until they get drunk then click on water tower/food bin place it in the place you want wait a day and your food/water will go up by 10 but the drunk citizen says okay but doesn't do it so, sober him up and he'll build the water tower/granary and food/water will in crease antother 10 so instead of 10 you get 20! and employ him again.

I know a tip build 3 saloons and hire all gunslingers then keep putting them in front of bandits WARNING: only put the mean gunslingers and the normal ones don't put the nice ones and once them mean ones die maybe another nice gunslinger can replace him keep doing this untill you have all 9 nice gunslingers and your town happiness will in crease by 45.

OK we're sorry lex to do food you should listen to codex.

Uh... right um the first thing you need to do is build 3 farms,3 ranches and if you have enough supplies build granaries and smoke houses be sure you have a well or more then build 2 motels after you build a lumber mill then, employ 1 citizen per food building then change them to on farms wheat,corn,pumpkin and ranches chicken,pig,cattle then the extra 4 citizens employ 2 of them extra on the ranches with cattle and the other 2 extra citizens on the farm that has pumpkins TIP: pumpkin and cattle make the most food. and notice that you town happiness increases by 25! OR instead of employing the 4 extra citizens have them go to gold mines and wood huts TIP: I don't need wood huts if I'm on the desert map I only harvest the dead ones It's better for you town because they need trees to live but of corse it's a game but in real life people need trees to live so I use my settlements.

all right so I found out how to get to build buildings to shut it down AGAIN! and reopen it.

I have a question how does one raise sheep in your ranches lara???

you need gunslinger gulch the wild horse lasso with a citizen and take to the well(unlocks animal round-up quest) capture a horse,bear, and sasquash in three different prebuilt pens.Walk in through the gate and escape so the animal is locked in. these quests can be buggy so save after each capture.

Hey guys dont be surprized or cocy or anything but I've almost used up all of the space on the top of the map on buildings windmills,wood huts,lumber mills,tons of ranches farms,granaries,water towers,smoke houses,general stores,trading posts,Gazebos,fountains,churches,statues,a town hall,welcome sighns, watch towers,flower pots,behives,saloons in fact I've built every building except for shacks and gold mines no gold mines because I've exsausted all of them and no shacks because It's too rugged for my happy citizens so I've built 3 hotels,and 1 log cabin instead and I have 1000 food,15000 and more wood and gold and +92 food and -18 it says in town stats and +40 town happiness fromnice gunslingers dont be astonished though because it's kind of irritating

Hey all I found a cheat

really what?

Ok, so you have to have cheat engine and westward 2 running minimize it go to cheat engine and click "file" and click westward 2 something and click on the icon at the right bottom corner "enable speed hack" put it all the way up to five hundred and click "apply" TIP:make sure you've done all your settlements! then, employ someone at the train station, and do gold,wood or food notice that your speed goes and whatever you want will speed up. if the noise bothers you, turn sound effects off in "options on main menu if you want to stop it minimize it and disable speed hack by putting it back to 1.0 and if the train noise still bothers you, save and exit and come back then that rackit will turn off!

with that, now I have 30,000 something gold.

hey! since I have 32203 gold, 1 gold piece equals up to 1500 dollars in this day, multiply them, and so far my town has 48,304,500 dollars! fourty-eight million three-hundred-four thousand five-hundred!
