You could get the dynamite from the squirrels in return for the frozen statue of Lionel, but this you need to free the people in the darkwoods, actually you only need dynamite to open all the kracks on the walls where you will find treasures. If you have 6'000.-- buy the Manor in SEdona, there you will find a spell or something like this , and you could sleep there and restore your strength, for free.
