I have found 6 additional mysterious items beyond what the OP posted. I am missing just one (I have 42) so I have not made it to the third bonus level. Here are my additions:

The Tunnel of Love = The Indian bonnet, center of the screen
Carousel = Spoon on the leg of the rightmost horse
Kitty Carnival = Treble clef/hammer at bottom right
Dr. Goodwell = The letters "OO" on the upper left sign
Lion Tamer = The sign on the left side of the screen
Strongman = The lightning bolt upper right of the screen

Has anyone found that elusive 43th item?
