I only recently started playing this game. I love it, but I'm stuck. I went through the trapdoor and ended in the garden. I have the key to the backdoor, but it's dirty and needs washing. I have the crank put on the well and I have the bucket. But I cannot find the rope. It's probably staring me right in the face, but I am stumped. Can anyone help?

Okay, I got it. If anyone to follow has trouble here, use the scissors you found and cut the rope off the rope ladder. I had thought of that and tried it several times and it didn't work. I discovered you have to go to the very top of the ladder to cut the rope.
