I may be doing something wrong but I just can't seem to make the treat stations work. Would someone mind telling me how it works so I know whether it's me or the game?

the pet stations don't work when the pets hearts are already full....
Sometimes it just doesn't work.
The best time to do it is after you take them to a station, and just hope that it works. The pets that you'll need it for usually have many stations, so it should work well enough.
